"Checked into my room, when I walked in, there was a string chemical smell. Then, after laying in bed for a while, watching a show on my phone, a roach crawled on the bed next to me. Called the front desk. She switched me to another room, saying, "But, it's non- smoking". I told her the first one was supposed to be and she said it wasn't bc my reservation was for smoking. I double-checked, wrong. I reserved non-smoking in the first place. Then, the top security lock was broken on the door so I...

"The window was dirty. The towels were stained the tub had a huge patch of fiberglass on the bottom that was rough and hurt your feet. I had to wear flip flops to shower. The shower was stuck on so when you turned the water on you couldn’t adjust the temp before getting hit with freezing water. I’m a big disabled guy and they didn’t have an elevator. I had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to my room. The door had to be pushed open because it was dragging on the carpet. It was hard to close...

"Great stay will stay here again"

"I liked the free roaming horses and goats and how friendly and helpful everyone was. We had one issue with our microwave and they put a new one in within minutes. The only thing that would of been better is if they maintained the cabin a little better and stocked the kitchen better with pots and pans,"

"Under new management and I believe he's doing better also trying to make the property better as a whole."

"Really unique place. Kinda down a sketchy road, but once you get down to the cabin it was pretty nice. Cabin was cozy and modern with a bunch of great light fixtures. Cabin is clean and well kept. However, we had an issue with the lock and the host was pretty slow to respond. Luckily, we resolved it on our own. Also, it would be nice to have a key to the door closest to the parking area not walking around in the dark to the door straight into the bedroom. I will possibly be in the area next year...

"Saw lots of pets enjoying the property "

"Cabin 1 was in good condition and clean. But the deck was dirty spider webs everywhere and wasps. Chair pads were dirty we had to remove them to sit."

"This is a beautiful property. It is a quiet and peaceful location in the woods of Davy Crockett National Forest. We enjoyed watching the turtles around the pond and the screened in porch attached to our cabin. There is a pool on the property that was very nice. The cabin itself was nicely equipped and decorated well. It was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend visit. The host and hostess communicated well and were very helpful when needed. We will be visiting again very soon!!"
