"Beautiful, peaceful but would like to recommend a spiral stairway. Probably not for 80 year old unless you can use only bed in main floor and needs a different bed in main bedroom bed is beautiful but mattress does not stay on frame. need emergency phone # posted. "

"Ches was more than helpful and accomodating with all of the perks -- kayaks, pickleball, foosball, etc -- and gave us extra time for checking out."

"The location of the home was great. We enjoyed fishing, the beautiful lake and serenity. Wildlife especially the deer. The house was really nice and we really enjoyed sitting in the enclosed porch downstairs in the afternoon. We would highly recommend this place. "

"My wife and I stayed here with our puppies to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. The property is very nice and the host was very helpful and very responsive. We had a relaxing time, enjoyed some of the local sights and eateries, some reading and some fishing. Enjoyed seeing deer and other wildlife. We would definitely stay here again."

"Very clean and charming cottage with a view of Lake Barkley. Easy to find and good location. Marina was only 10-15min drive. Beautiful screen porch with lots of space for relaxing and watching the boats go by. "

"We loved our stay here. The house has everything we needed and more. We loved hanging out on the dock and having a Lilly pad in the lake. The living room and bedrooms are very nice as well. We hope to come back here again."

"Everything was perfect! Cabin was clean, beds were comfy and kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed swimming in the lake. We also rented a pontoon beach for the day. Communication with the owner was easy and response was quick. Thank you!! Oh and the fireworks were amazing!!!"

"Awesome spot with a great host! Convenient location to the lake and Turkey Bay OHV, which was the main reason for our stay. The host was fantastic, and renting waverunners ended up being the highlight of the trip for the kids. The location was perfect — close to the highway, gas station, market, and liquor store for refreshments. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!"

"Loved the cabin. It was clean, well kept, organized, and had all the basic amenities you would expect to find for the price range. Managers were friendly and good communicators. The rental experience was very smooth. The cabin is mostly surrounded by woods and feels very quiet and peaceful. There are several interesting places to visit near by, most of them around the river and lake,. The only challenge is that most shops and locations to visit are all a minimun 20min drive. "

"We had the best getaway this weekend! The property was beautiful, and the house was extremely clean and smelled great. I didn’t even realize in the listing it had a guest house, but it was so cute too. For sure will be coming back with my kiddos. The moonriver marina was literally 3 minutes away and so good. We also went to miss pattis which was about 45 minutes away. Theres a dollar general and liquor store minutes away as well. "
