"We were in town for a wedding and realized pretty quickly that there wasn’t much of a nightlife in the area. But the house very quickly accommodated our needs with a great fire pit that allowed us to reconnect with old friends. The pool table in the basement made pool tournaments a great way to spend our evenings. Loved everything about the property and would stay there again if I have the opportunity to. "

"Beautiful cabin! Very quiet, private, and well stocked. Lots of waterfalls to explore in the area as well as Cheaha State Park about 25 min away! Beautiful area! Highly recommend Pinhoti Ridge Retreat and this cabin (#4). We enjoyed hearing the night sounds, the creek and the rain on the roof. Dee Dee was very responsive to any inquiries. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks. "

"We stayed in a Timberline glamping tent for the first time overnight and it was absolutely perfect. We brought six kids and several activities. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. A pop up cloud came and it came a downpour. The tent didn’t budge an inch. The bath houses were only a short walk away. The AC and fans worked perfectly. It felt just like we were in a normal climate controlled room (and it was 90 degrees outside). No bugs came in at all. Absolutely amazing experience that the kids...

I read the listing AND the website- it was fully up front about the property being somewhat off grid.We stopped here briefly on our way back home. It was such a wonderful experience! "Steele Magnolia is a rare gem. Cozy, comfy, clean, and peaceful. Host was great about communicating directions and we found fresh banana bread when we arrived. So glad we found this cottage. We chose it because the location was the halfway point to our southern Alabama destination. We were so pleased, we’ve already booked the cottage for our return trip. The Steele area has lots to offer nature lovers so this is a great place for a longer stay. Fabulous screened porch, too!"

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Church Farm cabin! Myself, my husband, and our two children stayed for a couple of nights after Christmas while visiting family in the area. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for family to stop by for a visit and the kids enjoyed the large porch and nice outdoor areas. The beautiful Christmas tree was a nice touch! Thank you and we will look forward to staying again in the future!"
