"The best was to meet Javier at the reception of the hotel. He gave us all the necessary indications, really fantastic when you do not know the area. The hotel was OK, a bit run down by the years. The location was on the outside of town, but after a 15 minutes’ walk we reached town , which was really good. There were some good restaurants as well as a pub named Moose´s, which was delightful. A good stay overall. "

"The hotel is under new ownership. Main areas are clean and fresh looking. I’d booked a double room with river view. Tried calling before we arrived to ask if microwave in the room-1st time the call was just hung up on, I assumed it was an accident. Called back twice, no answer. We arrived about 8pm. "Excellent place to stay. Only thing we found odd was there was mixing bowls and measuring spoons, but no measuring cups (dry or wet). Otherwise cabin had our needs covered, and was everything we were looking for with getting away from the big city. Hosts were good with communication and instructions too. Would highly recommend and stay here again."
