"Overall it was an unpleasant stay. To start off, we checked the Lake level because the host makes a small note about the water level, and the Lake level was at an average. Well, at an average Lake level you’re left high and dry. Then when we entered, my grandson stepped on broken glass on the porch. The floors were sticky, and we found a dead cockroach. We had planned to stay for four or five days. We left after one."

Newly updated spacious bathrooms and kitchen. Comfortable beds (Have I mentioned? SO MANY PILLOWS!!) Plenty of bed space for a crowd of 9. May not fit a crib or playpen for smaller children. "Very secluded which is what we were looking for. Did not hear single car or road noise the entire time we were there. Plenty of wild animal sounds and an occasional dog barking was all the noise we heard. Not a single voice from a human.Enjoyed the firepit and grilled food over it. Even though there is a grill I preferred the camp fire.Very clean. Plenty of supplies were provided.I will definitely consider staying here again when we are ready to get off the beaten path.Hiked at two different...
