"The outside sells this place. Tranquil setting with lots of outside seating. Quiet and the lake is beautiful! Unfortunately, weather turned cold, and we did not get to enjoy the outdoors. Nice lake house, older, but in good shape. The house is small, but adequate for 2. Being stuck inside, my only complaint, too much furniture and decor for a small place. Felt a bit closterphobic for me. Overall, a great rental for good weather. "

"Great place for us to hang out for the long weekend. The pool was absolutely lovely. The scenery was beautiful. It was a complete respite for us."

"Loved the location. The stairs are steep so not good with kids or those with joint issue. I asked to see the garden twice with no response from host so I was disappointed with that. The air conditioning units in windows cooled the place effectively. Facility provided everything you needed. Loved that we could bring our pets! There is a pet deposit that is not mentioned in listing so be aware of that. Overall enjoyed our stay. "

"First of all, we loved that the garage was included as a parking spot. The home was clean and comfortable. The A/C works well. Ample kitchen items for a short stay. We took morning walks around the block and felt safe. The decor is calming."

"Between the overall cleanliness of the entire property and the peaceful quiet that encompassed the property, we were in heaven! The host was excellent, both in communication and hospitality. The hayloft (and honestly the property as a whole) has such great character and is clearly given great care and attention to detail. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you Cheryl for being such a great host and for sharing your awesome neck of the woods with my family!"

"We came into town for an event in Palestine and had a fantastic stay! The home was exceptionally well equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we loved all the new friends we made throughout the farm. The property is stunning and thoughtfully designed.The pool was wonderful and watching the baby foal play was so much fun.Rose is a gracious host, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year!"

"I feel like so often the descriptions for things are misleading! People use language to describe things in a better light than they actually are. This was NOT the case with this stay. Everything was delightful, above and beyond. Things were beautiful, clean, and intentional. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were super accommodating. If my husband and I ever get a night or two away from our kids again, we will surely be back! "

"We went to our great niece’s graduation in Marshall Tx . This place is nice and quiet and everything you will need is provided . The host is awesome and very responsive. The bed rooms are very nice and this place is very well kept . I will stay again when traveling to this area . The location is very close to the highway I-20 and shopping, Walmart , various restaurants. "

"Our toddler especially enjoyed the croquet set in the backyard and we all enjoyed the porch swing!"

"Loved and adored the property!!! As soon as we pulled up it was soooo surprising how secluded and serene this beautiful cabin was. Above and beyond all of our expectations!!!!We had just been through some pretty challenging months and wanted a space to help us recover from things Never in our wildest dreams did we think we could find such an amazing getawayway. But this is it folks!!!!From the location and the love put into the handmade cabin. Loved that it has no wifi and all of the pigs...

"The house was a great place for our get together. Loved the outdoor space and back porch. Great place for playing cornhole and sitting outside. Fishing was really good. Caught bass every time we went to the pond. The house clean and enough beds for all of us. There was a few issues that I need to address. The back door was very difficult to open. The handle has been installed upside down and would not operate very well. Constantly had to force door open. In the kitchen there was only 6...
