"Very nice house. Lots of parking for our 3 vehicles. The kitchen was very well appointed and we were able to cook our meals for 6 people with ease. Comfy beds! I would call the property 'pet tolerant.' Friendly neighbor dogs roam free which our dogs did not appreciate. It is RIGHT ON the busy highway 89. Crossing the road to access the beach was a little scary on Saturday. Impossible to leave windows open in the evening due to road noise and the front deck was well furnished but same road noise...

" We really loved our stay and highly recommend if you like old school charming lakefront homes! The number of bedrooms and bathrooms worked very well for our group. We loved hanging out on the fabulous deck with great views of the lake. The jacuzzi is a great bonus as well as the steps down to the small deck on the water. Even though it's older, it's well loved and you can just tell there have been a lot of family memories made here.Very well equipped kitchen and newer appliances.The lake...

"Loved our stay! Small cottage, just what we were looking for. And the Truckee River is Right There!! Had my morning tea watching the sun rise over the trees and river every morning.Very clean and well cared for. The weather turned in us from summer warm to thunderstorms at night. We were warm & cozy listening to it. Great location - close to the river walk, rafting and Tahoe City. Yet not to close. Quiet peaceful location. "
