"Very lovely place to stay! Beautiful scenery and views!"

"Good motel for the area, close to Baxter State Park. Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Only down size is breakfast is very basic that needs little to prepare ahead of time. No boiled eggs, etc. Coffee was weak like most motels. Other than that, it’s a nice motel."

"New owners, and they have a lot to do to improve the property. Exterior and entrance poor, parking lot dirt that needs grading, key system for rooms a work in progress. Bathroom and room itself were clean but could also benefit from upgrades. Millinocket is very small, and most restaurants are closed Sunday and Monday."

"This is a beautiful little gem in the woods. Clean, comfortable bed, what more could you ask for!?!!"

"Beautifully appointed stay with historic environment. Such nice hosts and a quaint town for a one night stay."

"Hostess was outrageously hospitable and great to talk to. So very welcoming!"

"A nice place check-in was easy"

"Very comfortable property but for the price we would have expected some coffee as most hotels provide that is my only complaint . Great location in town everything walkable"

"Excellent room, staff, and breakfast. Enjoyed staying there. "

"It's a cabin in the middle of the woods, as long as you read the emails and pay attention there isn't any surprises. Bathrooms are outhouses but there is a communal a cabin with bathrooms showers with hot water staff is around during the day, the cabin are clean and warm, as long as you are responsible with food critters aren't a problem. It adds a bit of luxury to camping in the sticks. Being in the dark sky zone makes for amazing stargazing. That being said this place isn't a place to...

"Comfy bed and quite location"

"Good place for a single traveler"

"Great place to stay, everything was perfect. Will definitely return in the future."

"Nice camp. Unique. Good location."

"The house was very clean and views of the lake were beautiful. However, there was only a washer and no dryer. The shower head was awful which caused half of the body to freeze while showering. The bed in the master bedroom is beyond awful. The mattress is sinking in the middle and the bed creaks with the slightest of movement. When i tried to blowdry my hair, the smoke alarm went off. I would not stay here again!!!"

"The place was a very nice place to stay"

"The cabin was peaceful, clean, and well stocked. Lovely location, too. Close to Moosehead lake."
