"This little cottage was perfect for my needs, as a place to take a break from a camping road trip. Shower, full size fridge with freezer (I freeze ice in big detergent jugs for camping and the freezer was big enough to refreeze three), comfy bed, quick walk to grocery store and several restaurants. Easy to find right off the main street through town. Very quiet at night. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom which might be awkward for non-coupled friends traveling together."

"Great little cabin! We enjoyed our stay and loved how close to the beach it was. Communication with the host was easy, the cabin was clean and had good amenities, and the price was right. The beach felt very private despite how huge it is. It was gorgeous and only a short walk away. The cabin had a nice kitchen and living space. My only con is that the walls are very thin, so if anyone snores loudly just be aware that they might want to sleep in the downstairs bedroom and not the upstairs loft."

"The Host is excellent. The vibe is excellent. The only drawback honestly was the shower set up. The shower head would spray out the door when opening the sliding door and turning it on to the warm setting. Other than that? I’d say five stars. There was a 1 1/2” mold area forming at the corner of the ceiling above the window at the front of the room. Check at the corner of ceiling to wall above said window. Easy remedy. "

We arrived a little early and asked if we could check in but were told cleaning was still in process and they’d contact us if they finished early. "#4 was very clean, quiet and comfortable, except for the heat issue. It was cooler when we stayed and there was no heat in the room. Fireplace didn't work and the "ghost" thermostat on the wall did not work either. Finally got the fireplace running but it is an on and off manual system. It really needs to be hooked to a thermostat. There was a space heater added to the room which helped a little. It was, on the other hand very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. "We had a wonderful stay over Mother's Day weekend. Location was great, just a short drive to the beach and to Tokeland for dinner.
