"My wife and I were very impressed with our recent stay at this hotel. We arrived earlier than we expected. When I went to check in, I expected our room to not be ready. To my surprise, it was. The clerk at the front desk was extremely pleasant. The check-in took about two minutes. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. What impressed me the most was how quiet the hotel was. The breakfast was very good. There is a Ruby Tuesdays right next door. There is a DQ a short walk away....

"The property is very unique, charming, and comfortable. We loved walking the historic neighborhood. Perhaps my favorite part was the regular chime of church bells -- very soothing. "

"Check in is at 3pm but was not able to check in until 4:23. When we finally got in to the room there was still hair and stuff all over the floor. Had to have them come back to clean it. Staff didn't seem to think it was an issue that our room wasn't even ready and they were very rude to a group of kids that were there. Overall would never go back to this hotel."

"My son was looking forward to swimming in the pool, however when we arrived we were informed it was closed which we did not know before we booked our stay. Other than that I have no complaints"

"Overnight stay took place during renovation work, so that affected how well the tidiness could be maintained. Rooms could benefit from some rehab. Would recommend adding a bottle of body wash to the existing bottles of shampoo and conditioner that are installed on the shower wall."
