"The Funky Shack was very clean and was in a great location. It was exactly as it was shown on the website. We had to find "the sweet spot" for hot water in the shower. It is at about the 2 o'clock position! We loved our stay there and will definitely stay there again!"

"Yes it is an older cabin (70s maybe) , but it is well maintained, Clean , and furnished . Pictures don't do it justice for its size. I expected a lil shoe box sized cabin. It was actually quite quaint. With a fire pit out back . Just wish I got to spend more time to soak up the local activities nearby. Plan on another stay in the future ! Staff was amazing and friendly even got welcomed by the kitty 😁. "

"My friend and I are quilters and we took our sewing machines and worked on projects for 3 days. The dining table was perfect for our needs and the kitchen had new stainless steel appliances and everything we needed to cook all our meals. Loved the deck and porch in the wooded setting. The gas fireplace made it nice and cozy on the cool days. Highly recommend!"

The ad led us to believe that the amenities included were apart of our package, but when we arrived, we found out that there were extra fees for laundry, ice, firewood, etc. Myself and my husband thought these things were included due to the way the ad was worded.
