"Directions to the property was correct, but getting into the property was a little tricky with a 20 foot trailer behind the truck. No where to turn the trailer around had to back about 200 yards to turn trailer around. Cottage is quiet and cozy"

"i stayed in this cabin to enjoy hiking in the gorge. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed for the term of my stay. Checking in and out was very convenient. Communication with the host was very accommodating. It was a bit of a drive each day to and from my hiking destinations but i would not necessarily allow that to hinder my decision to return to this cabin in the future."

"DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE EITHER A TRUCK OR SUV WITH 4WD. The road to the cabin is dangerous and even with 4WD we could barely get up the hill. Two cars ended up in ditches and vacations were ruined because they couldn’t leave the cabin. The host would only communicate through VRBO but there was no WIFI. When I did leave messages they were ignored and I got an automated check out notice instead. There was a huge wasp nest right above the loft window where my daughter slept, no...

"The pictures are dead on. The location is perfect. The porch is Ah-mazing! We had so much fun hiking and my husband was fishing, that we didn't even get to the hot tub! And that's OK because we'll be back! Very comfortable and quiet. Sitting on the porch at night taking in the evening scents and stars was so relaxing. I'm not kidding about the porch - do it!!"

"Lovely little cabin! The cabin was spotless, comfortable and nicely appointed. There were neighbors fairly close but we never heard them - overall the setting was super quiet. The location was convenient to anything you would want to do in the Gorge. Couldn't ask for a better place to come back to after a long day outdoors. Be sure to bring a smoke detector if this a concern as there is none in the cabin."

"Once we got there it was a great trip, it is very new so gps was a little tricky, the people all around was so very nice. And if you forget anything they probably have it available. The place was very clean, and very spacious, loved the 3 king sized beds. And if you get a chance take the coalbankhollar.com tour, it was well worth every penny spent on that excursion. Would definitely go back if I get a chance! Thank you for such a nice place."
