"This cabin was REALLY out of the way. Tucked way back in the woods on top of Bankhead nature preserve. We saw lots of deer tracks all over the property. It has a hudge pond but I wouldn't recommend trying to fish in it. It is vary shallow and has alot of grass and debre in it. But, if you'r looking to get away from everyone and everything this is the place to go. It is, in my words the perfectlt placed for a writer to gather there thoughts and organize ideas. It's definitely a place to escape...

"Loved our stay here! There was a major frisbee dog event in Decatur that we traveled from Minnesota for. Stayed here very comfortably with me, my wife, mother in law, our toddler; and our dogs! Plenty of space for us to set our kennels up for the dogs.
