"It was very peaceful and enjoyable. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. One family of 4 people and one small dog and another family of 4. The home sits on 25 acres of west Texas range land which was great for hiking. We recommend the veiw from “The Platform”."

"My husband and 2 sons loved the river, fishing and campnfires. They had an awesome time. Only issue was the refrigerator. It needed to be fixed as we had to store everything in the freezer bc it wasnt cold and had to throw away stuff that went bad. Other then that it was great. "

"“Keep your children wild, let them spend their days in the sunshine.” Spring Break 2025! I love the Texas Hill Country, but I treasure time with my family even more. Our adventures included exploring caverns, hiking at Garner State Park, fishing, kayaking, catching minnows and tadpoles, skipping rocks on the water, playing football and baseball, Twister, and having a campfire with s’mores. The best part is all the memories we made. 🩵"

"It was very nice to unplug and enjoy being a family, communication was perfect with owners and we had everything we needed. Loved seeing all the animals on the property and really enjoyed sitting outside at night with the wind that blows on the porch. Thank you for opening your place to us! FYI my son is now asking for a baby zebra lol"

"the pictures only hint at the size and comfort of this property. The entertainment area under the house has everything you need to entertain or just enjoy the outdoors. Would have loved to stay longer. Everything looks new and functioned perfectly! Can't wait to come back. Bird lovers will enjoy the symphony of bird calls and sounds in the morning. River had enough water to wade in the shallows or float in deeper pools."

"I spent three days hiking with my dogs on this gorgeous 6,000 acre ranch, and it was not nearly long enough! The small cabin was perfect for the three of us, with a very well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom. The bed is very comfortable, and the air-conditioning more than managed to keep up with the over-100 degree temperatures. "No superlatives can adequately describe the experience of staying at Elephant Mountain Ranch. The setting is idyllic. The hosts are charming, welcoming, and informative. Our group was all adults, but we all agreed this would've been over-the-top fun to enjoy as a child.
