"This stay was exceptional! My family and I stayed here the weekend of my wedding and it accommodated us beautifully. We had 14 guests, so all beds were full , and everyone was gushing about the house. Even the couple who slept on the pull out couch said it was super comfortable! Wehad our too dogs also loved the house!"

"Location was excellent....close to the golf courses, and resort amenities. Also, only 15 minutes from downtown Galena. The unit was clean and the layout excellent for our party of two couples, with separate bedrooms/bathrooms on each level. Furnishings were newer....comfortable and well maintained.Suggestions:Kitchen was adequately equipped, however didn't have a set of grilling utensils. Also, the grill needed to be cleaned, and maybe upgraded. Was adequate, but had to clean it ourselves...

"Beautifully restored school house. Great quiet place for two couples just outside of town. Nice subtle “schoolhouse theme” and equipped with everything we needed. Simple and clean. Hot tub and fire pit space was perfect and private. Beds were comfortable. Views out the large rear window are great."

"Well maintained house. Furnishing were comfortable. House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. This house offered a hot tub. Also a screened in porch with a fire table which made a cozy place to sit and have coffee. Basement had pool table, darts, shuffle board and air hockey table plus other games. Kids loved the basement area. "

"This home is the definition of charm - so many little details and the decor is wonderful. The home is about a 10-15 minute drive into Galena, which worked out really well for our group. We loved the convenience of being only a short drive away while still being in a peaceful neighborhood with a wonderful view of the lake. There is no central A/C in the home, but that wasn't a problem for us as the provided unites kept the home comfortable for us. We closed the blinds when we left during the day...
