"Great house/property to accommodate large groups. Kitchen is ideal for preparing meals for larger parties, outdoor space allows for many activities with a fire pit perfect for making s’mores and closing out the evening. Check-in and out was seamless. Would absolutely return!"

"McKinley Manor was an excellent place to stay for my family during our time in Rensselaer, the location was just perfect. It had enough big comfy beds for all of us. The house itself was absolutely beautiful inside, keeping the original woodwork and layout of the house was fantastic but adding the modern touches such as in the kitchen and the bathroom were perfect. "This was our third stay in one of the cabins on the property. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Great groomed walking trail all around the pond, perfect to exercise our dogs and stretch our legs after a long drive. Tons of bird activity for those interested in a bit of bird watching. We will be back!"

" The cabin was clean and the lake and beach area were nice. Some suggestions, there was no frying pan to cook breakfast. An added mirror in the bedrooms would be nice with only one bathroom. And the nightstand as a dresser did not leave enough room for 2 people. We had to leave the clothes in our suitcase.Overall though it was a nice place to stay."

"After making a reservation about two weeks in advance, we get there late in the evening to find out they do not have a room available that we reserved. Then, we reluctantly agreed to another room and the smoke smell was so strong. We went to the desk to ask for another room and were told they did not have any other rooms. We had to go to another establishment and find a room. Don’t waste your time. "

"Supply and demand. If you're looking at this place, you've got a reason to stay in or around Francesville. You don't have many options. The place is small, no frills and dated. It was fine for my family for a couple of nights as we weren't in the house very long. Our cost for 2 nights all in was 387. Don't have high expectations and you'll be ok.It was easy to check in. Wifi worked. Had hot water and a TV."
