"My family and I (3 adults, 2 kids, 3 dogs) stayed here for 10 wonderful days. We stayed in two trailers (Passport & Catalina) and we had never stayed in trailers before, but they were nice and enjoyable, a learning experience for sure if you have never done so, but they still have all of the same amenities that you would get elsewhere for the most part. Each trailer came with a deck, bbq and picnic table for outside use, as well as a fire pit, which was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy...

"Duck Cove was by far our best stay along the Cabot Trail. The views were spectacular. Staff friendly, room clean, beds comfortable, breakfast delicious. Highly recommend Duck Cove."

"Beds are squeaky upon moving and very uncomfortable. Staff unfriendly. Cable limited to 3 channels. Food in the area remote. Choices for food traveling back to Chéticamp about 12 miles away. Pricey to stay. No air conditioning in bedroom only. The living room area with one air conditioner for the entire space. So if you close the door to the bedroom your bedroom area becomes stuffy and hot. Checking out no friendly staff to thank you for your stay. Absent staff."

"The room was very well appointed with so many nice touches. The bathroom was very luxurious too! We had a small maintenance issue and the chap came speedily and sorted it within minutes. We actually arrived quite late but the check in info was all very accurate and we had no problems gaining access to the property."

"The owners are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are perfect, showing a tremendous attention to detail. Breakfast was the best on this trip, and the owner showed us pictures of the island and told us about its history as we ate. After that, he picked up his fiddle and provided us with a mini concert. 10 stars is my evaluation!!"

"The Chalet has good bones and everything you need for your stay in Pleasant Bay. It could use some maintenance on the deck and in the house itself but nothing that makes the stay unworkable."

"Only had time to stay for one night, but it was a great stay. Exceptionally clean and well-appointed. A cozy spot that was perfect for our needs and a good place to rest while exploring the Cabot Trail."

"It was very quiet. We were told there would be a micro-wave, that the heater would take 30 minutes to warm the pod and that would be "toasty warm". The heater was a cute decoration, nothing more. There was poor oceanview. It was an experience we will NOT repeat!"
