"The property is beautiful and quiet. The interior of the house was very clean, warm, and comfortable. "We found the house to be rustic-modern. Great retreat for our family as we fished on Caddo. We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the property amenities like the canoes and lake front across the street, but it was a big part of the decision to be rent. Comfortable living room for all of us and good wifi made movie watching while off the lake a nice treat (and helped us tackle a remote day working without skipping a beat)."

"House was huge with tons of beds! It was very accommodating. Had a warm, homey feeling where we all felt welcomed. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Very much loved the scenic views on the slough, and not very far at all from the canal where we had fun boating and looking at the beautiful cypress moss. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "
