"Place was okay, location is good if you want to be in Leo. I specifically asked about stairs into and around the house. My mom has a bad knee and needs knee surgery. There were no photos so I reached out to the owners and was ensured that there were only a few small steps. I'm sorry, but that was misleading. There are 4 steep steps into the house on the front and back. I would not have booked here if I had been able to see pictures before hand. I've attached some in case somebody in the future...

"The cottage was amazing. It was cozy and the lake view with the trail was beautiful. Not having a television or wifi helped us to disconnect from the busyness of our everyday lives and reconnect with nature and each other. We would definitely love to come back and enjoy another stay. "

"The pictures do not do this house justice. The duplex was lovely and both bedrooms were identical and comfortable. The bathroom was great with dual sinks and a nice hot shower. A fully functioning kitchen was a great asset. We enjoyed a walk in the neighborhood. Host was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions!"

"We came from KY to visit my precious sister and brother-in-law and have stayed at many cabins through the years, and this by far was the best. Easy to find and right down from Sauder Village bakery lol.The cleanliness was absolutely superb and the cabin smelled wonderful. Everything down to the littlest decoration was dusted. You just don't see that anymore. The amenities were out of this world. The beds were very comfortable and had the best sheets and bedding. This cabin has everything...

"We were the first ten renters at this property. The house served us well. The 4 separate bedrooms were wonderful. We were there over 4th of July weekend and the town parade was walking distance. We only needed to walk across the street to watch fireworks. The toys for the kids in our group were wonderful. Washer and dryer was handy after being at the lake. The family has many pictures and Bible verses spread around the house. Something we loved!"

"Serene! We had an absolutely lovely time. The cottage is cute and cozy and was spaced out to fit 5 guests surprisingly well. The lake was so calm and beautiful, hardly any boats, and lots of wildlife to see. Christin was a marvelous host; she was very speedy with all responses, and super accommodating. "

"We loved staying by the Maumee River. We grew up close to this river, brought back lots of happy memories. We loved the Welcome basket and all the amenities. "We truly enjoyed our stay! The owners were very organized and were responsive to our questions. The house was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed playing volleyball and pickleball at the new amenities across the street. We rented a pontoon boat for 1 day and enjoyed spending time on the lake. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to explore Nettle lake."
