"This is a hidden gem. Yes, it is off the beaten path. It is a drive to get to fine dining establishments and groceries, but the host was very clear about that and the various ways to work around it. The apartment has everything you need to cook for yourself. It is very pleasant and clean. Perfect for a couple. You are less than an hour, from two of the finest whole hog BBQs in the world. There are some very nice walks in nearby Natchez Trace State Park. Doc was an informative and accomadating...

"The host is amazing and very communicative. I cannot express how much I loved the shower and the fact the back yard was fenced in. If your dog is trained like ours are they won’t get out. I loved the screened-in porch to sit outside to watch the dogs and enjoy the weather. The host was extremely accommodating and I was very comfortable with my stay. I will need to return again soon and hope this rental is available when we do. "

The layout of the home is nice with kids or two families. Two bedrooms are on one end with living room and the main bedroom and den are on the other end(dining room/kitchen are in the middle).I wish the water level had been up some more, as we mainly caught sticks lol(this isn't controlled by the owner)."
