"This is what the soul needed. It’s was a feeling of being secluded enough, but not too far from civilization. The dogs loved it!! Especially the small creek nearby, which I have never seen such a clean and clear creek. The owners communicated greatly and are very kind. The bed is wonderful btw! Do bring extra lanterns and flashlights. Cants always bank on solar powered ones. Highly recommend! "

"It rained all wkd but was a nice trip anyway. Kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and grill there to grill supper. Had 2 deer in the yard and wasn’t scared of us watching them. Clean and bed slept good. Location is close to store and lake. "

"This place had everything - a delightful porch, a fire pit with awesome Adirondack chairs, a kitchen full of everything one could need, loads of outlets for charging, mini split ACs for ultimate comfort, a great shower, and foldable table and desk to maximize space. We’re thrilled we could stay here during our time in Big Sandy. The hosts were wonderfully communicative and helpful. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat!"
