"Overall, the cottage was a great stay for us. We came down from Pittsburgh for Family Weekend at ECU and it was well worth it. The location made it very easy to drive to and from campus. The view of the river in the morning was incredible, and the fishing was great (we're big fishing people, so if you're into that sort of thing, would definitely recommend this cottage). The hosts were easy going, and easy to communicate with. We didn't need much, but when we had questions, they were quick to...

"Easily one of the best vacations ever spent with my family! There was always something to do in this little oasis. Fishing, boating, even dolphin paid us a couple visits. The 5th wheel was really nice too, slept like a baby. I think we turned the tv on twice. Tammy and John are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.. two genuinely awesome host! We will be back! "

"William was a wonderful host! Communication was great! The home had a lot of character, and it was close to downtown. We were able to bring our fur babies too which was so nice! The back porch had a great view of the water and was so relaxing. "

"We chose this property because it was on the water and close to relatives. It was clean and as pictured with a surprise extra room! The location is quite a way off the beaten path so one needs to go prepared with necessary food items. The store on the property is great for ice cream and a few snacks. We enjoyed spending time with family and boating to Washington one day for lunch. The staff is WONDERFUL!!"
