"The room was new and up to date. But the cleanliness of the room was very lacking. The bed spread and blanket looked to have many spill or liquid spots on them, it was very dusty and the floor way dirty. The area outside of the room was cluttered with boxes, vaccums and a grill."

"Our stay was part of a week long trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough great things about our stay- our room was comfortable and cozy- the entire inn and staff are perfect for a quiet getaway and we didn’t want to leave. Food is excellent and many fun things to do close by including wineries and historic places and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommend- Brenda and Kevin are amazing hosts and people. We will be back!! "

"What a great place! Everything was as it should be and what I expected. We had an awesome time just relaxing with family. This is a cool spot and exactly what I wanted for a quick getaway with no distractions. We had fun seeing the deer, turkeys and the hummingbirds. "

"Loved being greeted by the fur babies, especially in the morning while sitting outside having my morning coffee! The place is clean and inviting and the bed was very comfy. I wished I had a picture of the doggies sitting in front of me while I was on the rocking chair!"

"Enjoyed our stay immensely. Cabin as described and as seen in pictures. Kitchen stocked with what we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. Beautiful view of the mountains, quiet and peaceful. Our host was delightful. Great experience! Would recommend and stay again."

"Fenton Inn is a cute little bed and breakfast. The service and food were both great. Our room was comfortable and exactly as described. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get away for a weekend."

"Alicia’s cabin was the most magical and perfect getaway. Everything was as advertised and was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. I’m glad Alicia listed instructions on how to get to the property because it is easy to miss on the drive in. She was very responsive and helpful with all of the local recommendations. The creekside cabin is the perfect place to unwind & relax. "

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was perfect, it had all the amenities and was just what we needed for a weekend away. The check in and checkout process was easy and having a extra time to check out made it very convenient."

"Wonderfull location for us to go to our Granddaughters wedding, Remote and peaceful. Really enjoyed it , owner very responsive to any questions etc.Maybe not as good for OLD People, stairs , bedrooms upstairs but bueatifully decorated."

"Our stay at Bear Mountain was truly peaceful and refreshing. The friendly animals, especially the sweet and loving beagle, made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the incredible view of the mountains each day, which added to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The only drawback was the poor internet and cell reception, but in a way, it helped us disconnect and fully enjoy the quiet countryside."
