"The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay."

"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"This beautiful unique house is in a wonderful country setting. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo while a horse watched me. The area restaurants were very good and either walkable or a short drive. We also enjoyed water activities on the nearby lake."

"Family of 5 with 3 college age kids. This property was just as advertised. It is clean and simple but nice. Property has 2studio apartments and a rooftop terrace. No hammocks as in pics. The 3 kids took the downstairs floor with two beds and my husband and I took the second floor. No air conditioning but not needed with the ceiling fans and screened windows opened. "We had a three day stay at Lumina Valley View Monteverde in April 2025. The house is very spacious, modern and comfortable. It has an amazing gourmet kitchen (love the waterfall style granite countertop!) and a great view with a lovely, vibrant orange sunset. Lovely furnishings and decor. "Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. "

"My wife and I stayed here with my parents and my brother and the space was perfect for us. The pool and hot tub were great and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The road up the hill to the property can seem a little intimidating at first but it's really not bad at all. The location is nice and secluded and close enough to La Fortuna without being too far. Overall we loved our stay here"

"Nuestra estadía en el hotel fue maravillosa. El hotel está muy bonito y lo tienen muy bien conservado. Tienen espacios muy agradables y senderos, y el restaurante la verdad fue de lo mejor que probamos en Monteverde. El personal del hotel sumamente amable, nos atendieron en recepción Ariana y Yerlin, y nos asesoraron sobre las actividades de tours disponibles y nos apoyaron en reservarlas. Teníamos algunas dudas y fueron muy amables en ayudarnos a resolverlas. Incluso me ayudó un buen rato para ver la mejor ruta para tomar carretera a Tamarindo. Durante nuestra estadía fue cumpleaños de mi esposa y mandaron un cupcake a la habitación con una vela. Sin duda repetiría quedarme aquí por el servicio y el lugar."
