"I stayed at Turing Locke Cambridge from 22–25 April 2026, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing—especially as this stay coincided with my birthday. On arrival, we were given a room that was clearly not fit for use. The bathroom had a strong sewage smell and the sink would not drain, making it feel unsanitary and uncomfortable. "This was a lovely quiet location which was very relaxing. The property we stayed in was lovely,my only disappointment was the bed was uncomfortable and both pillows were really flat. This however would not put us off staying again,we would just bring along our own pillows,and although the bed wasn’t very comfy,we could cope with this just for one night. Other than this ,we enjoyed our stay,and would definately return ."

"We loved our stay at Willingham House - exactly what we needed to visit family nearby. The suite was spotless, well-appointed and very comfortable. Beautifully finished with period fittings too."

"Lovely new apartments. Quiet and a good view. Beds were comfy and bathrooms lovely and the kitchen well equipped. The need for key fobs to go thru every door was somewhat tiresome and a bit surreal. The concierge who carry out the check in for these apartments were helpful. I was somewhat disappointed as there was no hairdryer in the apartment. After a long hold on the phone I was told the housekeeper would bring one Saturday morning (we were going to a wedding) but it never materialised....

"The hotel was clean and comfortable, with very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast (best croissants I have tasted in a long time), and they provided bags etc. for grab-and-go. Basic amenities were provided for self catering - I would recommend that the hotel replace the coffee table in the room with a small dining or bistro table."
