"We really enjoyed this quiet green oasis in Mendenhall Valley. Our favorite part was being right next to the Brotherhood Bridge Trail -- you really do walk right over that tiny bridge in the picture, and are right on the trails. "The place was very comfortable, clean and well supplied. It had everything we needed, including lots of pillows and blankets for kids to crash on the couches, air mattress, and floor. Bill and Penny were extremely accomodating, he even snow plowed around our car. Great central location, Fred Meyer is literally right down the road. I would definjtely stay there again!"

"Shangri-La met our needs for a couple days in Juneau. The whole unit is very big. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is great, and I loved that it had a washer/dryer. The sitting area is just ok but it could use a chair. Also, it was not made clear in the amenities that it does not have a regular stove and oven. It has a double cooktop you need to get out of a drawer and a single burner cooktop. They do not heat up like a regular stove. They do have a pretty big toaster...

"Our group of friends recently had a fantastic getaway in Juneau, and this house was perfect for our stay. The location was incredibly convenient—renting cars allowed us to easily explore all the attractions we wanted to visit.
