Updated Home-Priv Hot Tub-Comm Pool-Close 2 Beach

Sunset Palms (formerly The Crows Nest) is a beautiful newly renovated vacation rental home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and sleeps up to 8 people. It also comes with an outdoor lounge area, fire pit, private hot tub and is located in the Crystal Beach Cottages community just a short 3-5 minute walk from the beach. Crystal Beach Cottages community offers a park and a seasonally heated pool just a minute walk away.

Upon entering this vacation rental home you're presented with a beautifully decorated living area & open floor plan of the kitchen, dining & living areas. Looking to prepare a family meal? Make use of all the brand new stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen along with brand new granite counter tops & a breakfast bar that seats 8. The dining area is accented with gorgeous chandeliers with seating to accommodate 8. The living area offers comfortable seating and a large HDTV. The master king suite has a HDTV & the private bathroom offers a walk-in shower & jetted tub. The second bedroom has a king & HDTV. The third bedroom is a bunk room with twin over twin bunk beds, a full bed & HDTV. Last but not least, this home offers an outdoor lounge area, NEW private hot tub & grilling station perfect for family BBQ's.
*Please note for the safety of the guest & the owner this home offers a ring doorbell.


This home is located near popular Destin attractions. The Destin Commons, just around the corner, is an open-air shopping center with a movie theater, bowling alley, restaurants & more. The area also offers beach front local seafood dining & live entertainment.

*Please note peak seasons may require 6-7 night stays, otherwise, a 3 night minimum year-round.

Almost place. Close to everything. Clean, updated, and spacious. On the first night the living room tv fell off the wall. Thought we’d be without the tv all week. Called the property management and a new tv was mounted on the wall the next day before we got back from the beach. Great place.

Great Location!

Not only is this house in a great location, which is like a block from the beach, it's so clean and nicely decorated. There is so much to do around the area that is in walking distance (shopping, restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.)

Went to Destin to watch our son graduate from EOD school. Great location, less than 5 minutes to the beautiful beach. Close to highway but in a quiet neighborhood. House was very clean, lovely decor and great amount of room for 4 adults.

We'll be back...

Nothing but good things to say about this property. It was very clean upon arrival. Check in process was flawless. Mgmt team was responsive to communications. Wonderful location. 3-4 minute walk to the beach. The house came with a large beach wagon which we used everyday, beach chairs, toys, umbrella and more. As my wife said, this is now her favorite part of Florida. Thank you!

Great Beach Location

We loved this beautiful house in a cute quaint beach neighborhood. The garage had plenty of beach supplies for us and we enjoyed the quick walk to the beach. Coffee on the front porch, dinners by the grill and evening drinks by the fire.

Home was comfortable and nicely decorated. Porch, hot tub, and fire pit area were great. Nice community. Dryer didn’t work but I didn’t notice until our last night’s stay. Host was very responsive.

Great beach house

Such a cute beach house! Very spacious for our family of 7. The beach is really not a 5 min walk away, a 5 min drive is more like it, but not a hassle. The pool is less than 5 min walk and very easy to access. Would definitely stay here again!

Property and Location was perfect!!

Everything about this property was perfect for our group. The house included several beach items and corn hole boards/bags. The layout was great and the décor was adorable! The public beach access was just down the street only took a few minutes to walk there. The public beach access also had bathroom which was a bonus. Lots of stores and restaurants super close by as well. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Nice property - horrible property management company

The house was nice and comfortable. Do not rent a house if Destin Palms Vacations is the property management company. They will outright lie to you. The hot tub and patio with fire pit were the main reasons we chose this house. We were only able to use the hot tub one time during our one week stay. The circuit panel fried so I called the property management company. I was told they would call the owners to see about getting it fixed and get back to me with an update. They never called. I had to call several times to finally be told the hot tub would not be fixed while we were there for the week. I was told that someone would call me back to discuss some sort of discount. No on called. I called again the day we checked out. I was told someone would be calling me. No one called. I called the week after was told someone would call me. I then called and of course there was no manager so I asked to have one call me. No one has called. I was told repeatedly and assured someone would call me back every time I called. I have never experienced this level of poor customer service and blatantly being lied to. I will never stay at a property managed by your company. The owners of this property should know what this propriety management company is doing.

Good house and close to beach

House was nice, not to far from beach and came with some beach toys/chairs to use if needed. Kitchen could have had a few more pots/pans to cook with but other than that it was pretty well stocked if you wanted to cook a meal. All rooms and restrooms were clean and met all expectations. I liked the fact that there was a washer and dryer to wash linens and clothes if needed. Overall I felt it was worth what we paid for a week rental and would enjoy coming back next year.

Beautiful house and great location.

We loved the location! Everything was near by stores,restaurants, and the beach was very close to the house. The house also had extra amenities(beach chairs, beach toys for the kids...). Great stay!

Family Vacation

This house was great, location even better. The owners could do some upgrades and maintenance to the property. More cookware and maintenance to the hot tub, the jets barely worked. We also lost power 2 days in a row. Not sure why, the first day it took over an hour and someone came out but it came back on. The second day, no one came out and no one called back. Other than that the experience was great
