Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great property that met all of our needs. The beds were soft, everything was very clean, the hot water was aplenty, and the wifi was strong. We brought our own boat to visit crab island, so the private boat slip at this rental was a huge bonus. All in all, this rental is fantastic, especially for the price.My only issue is that the lock on the back door doesn't use the same code as the front door. This was challenging for us as we used the boat Saturday and didn't have a convenient way to get back inside.

Relaxing spot

Nice size location for family or friends. Plenty of space to hangout. Multiple bathrooms was a huge plus, right on the water and not far from any fun.

Great location

Unfortunately, the owners forgot to leave us the access key/pass for beach access :( A total bummer on this beach-focused vacay, and one of the selling points that made us choose this location. We contacted Vacasa but didn't get this resolved in a timely manner. There is a water leak over the stairs that needs to be addressed and lots of room for cosmetic improvements on the property. However, the central location and beautiful canal view made our stay super relaxing and enjoyable. I wish I'd have known there was a fishing pole in the downstairs room (found it on the last day :( and kept looking for an umbrella for the balcony but found this the day before we left :( A guide for guests would be helpful. Also any activity recommendations, # for pizza delivery, contacts for activities etc would have really made our stay over the top. FYI your housekeepers put away towels still quite damp, which made for an uninviting toweling off after our first showers... Also, the upstairs is SUPER hot compared to downstairs. We froze downstairs and sweated upstairs. Not sure what you can do about it, but I would have brought the fan (that I found on our last day) up from the downstairs bedroom to help circulate the air. It also would be nice to have a fan on the balcony. Overall, definitely would stay here again now that we know all the ins and outs of the place, but would make sure we have BEACH ACCESS!!
