Beautiful 3-Bedroom Beach Front Townhome in the Heart of Destin!

Southbay by the Gulf, is a quaint little townhome community located on the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This secluded property offers such a variety of vacation homes; you will be drawn back, time after memorable time. Our units feature private patios to enjoy beautiful views from. Southbay has 2 swimming pools and 2 kiddy pools; we heat the south pool seasonally. If it's tennis that you love, we have that too. Our grounds are made for walking so park at your front door and enjoy a stroll through the property while feeding the birds, fish and turtles. *Beach Service Included (2 Chairs & 1 Umbrella). Available March - October. This amenity is complimentary and no compensation will be offered if beach service is unavailable due to acts of God.*

The location and the place were very nice. The living room furniture was horrible! It needs to be replaced. Bedroom sliding glass door upstairs was broken. Couldn’t lock it nor slide it open. We never got to sit out on the deck of the bedroom. The deck and furniture off the living room area was very nice. This rental was very expensive for what was there. Additional beach service was almost 500 for two chairs and an umbrella! Won’t stay here again!

Great House!!!

I would absolutely stay at this property again as it was perfect for my family. Our biggest priority when choosing properties is proximity to the beach and it was so easy to go back and forth to the condo if needed. The property manager is easy to contact through text and they respond very quickly. I only had one concern during our stay which luckily was resolved. There is a beach service that sets up chairs/umbrellas for people to rent for the day/week. We paid for one of their few beach front condos so I was very frustrated when I thought in order for us to be close to the water (I have small kids) we had to pay to rent from that company. Yes it does state in HOA but regardless of if they are supposed to or not they take up entire beach line. The first day we set up at the only spot available (we had 4 chairs) and that took up the rest of the front row spots. After expressing concern to property manager and the chair service themselves we found out through the chair service that our condo came with two free chairs and umbrella for the week. A couple days later we found a flyer that we had that with our condo but it wasn’t something that I felt like was communicated to us clearly. I would definitely stay at this property again I didn’t feel like we were in a crowded beach even though it was spring break. I would ensure if it’s a priority for you to be close to the water you make sure you still get a free rental chair/umbrella for the week or you will be disappointed.

Unschlagbare Lage mit direktem Strandzugang

Geräumiger Hausteil auf 3 Etagen, tolle Sicht auf den Strand. Wohnung hatte alles (Weingläser wären ein plus gewesen, wir haben halt dann Margarita-Gläser genommen); genügend Pfannen und Besteck. Gute Kommunikation mit Management, schnell Antwort.

Friends getaway

We came to Destin for fun trip and the stay is really spacious for our gang. We are 10 adults and 1 intact . The patios are really good and the beach is less crowded in this area.

Smoke detectors had to be removed from wall. Maintenance told us to do it and the would be out the next day and they didn’t show up.
