Family & Pet-Friendly 2BR Retreat Near Downtown

Welcome to The Kirkwood!
Perfect for the State Fair, concerts, or a weekend getaway, The Kirkwood has everything you need — a bright living space, cozy bedrooms, updated kitchen, and a spacious yard with a new deck.
Families and pets are welcome, with plenty of room to relax. Enjoy the convenience of a long driveway, plus quick access to downtown Des Moines, Iowa State Fairgrounds, and local attractions.

Sleeping Arrangements
• Bedroom 1 → Full bed (sleeps 2)
• Bedroom 2 → Twin bed (sleeps 1)
• Living Room → Full pull-out couch (sleeps 2)
• Basement → Twin pull-out couch (sleeps 1; recreational area, no standard bedroom window)

We have also turned the basement into a small recreational and work area. This is also where the full size washer and dryer are located.

You will have access to the full kitchen to make your delicious meals.

The backyard offers plenty of space, though it is not fenced. We kindly ask guests to keep pets on a leash outdoors. We’ve provided a pet waste station in the backyard to make things easy for you.

High-speed WiFi is available throughout the home.
