Nestled alongside Nebraska Beach; relax, enjoy the ever-changing movements of the sea, or stroll down the steps to the sandy beach.

Our family holiday home is a special place by the beach to step away from the busyness of life, take a deep breath and rest.

Magnificent 180 degree views of the beach and D'entrecasteux Channel. With large windows and spacious decks you'll find it an ideal spot to watch the movements of the sea.

This home has comfortable open plan living areas, and a well equipped kitchen with quality appliances, including electric hot plate, oven, microwave & coffee machine. Wide wrap around decks provide a smooth transition from indoor to outdoor living, with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ.

With 2 bedrooms, the home sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed & ensuite access to the home's bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. A porta-cot is available on request for a baby. The comfortable mattresses are fitted with electric blankets and warm woolen doonas. Quality linen and towels are supplied. The bathroom has two way access and there's a separate toilet.

No41 Dennes Point is a perfect home to simply do nothing - just relax and unwind.

But ... for those with energy to burn the opportunities abound - walk South on the beach to magnificent coastal rock formations, spend time on the beach, fish, bring your own boat, play tennis (racquets are provided, the court is 5 minutes walk away).

The Jetty Cafe is a 15 minute walk or short drive. They serve hot coffee and delicious meals.

Take a drive south for short or long scenic walks, surf the waves at Cloudy Bay, visit Cape Bruny Lighthouse, the Cheese Factory, Oyster Farm, or take a cruise on the Pennicott Wilderness Journeys. There's so much to see and do.

The home is well insulated, double glazed, heated and cooled with a heat pump/air conditioner. We rely on rainwater and a quality filters are installed for excellent drinking water.

While at Bruny Island, our family loves "screen down time, family up time", enjoying the beach, reading and games, so the TV is small and hidden behind a picture. There is no wifi at the house, however there is great 4G reception for mobile devices.

Sorry no pets due to quolls, potaroos, echidnas and birds.

Refreshing Retreat

I had a fantastic time at No41, so I extended my stay there. From the view out onto the water, to the board games and puzzles, to the well stocked kitchen, this house was an excellent location for a getaway, and I will be back.

A Perfect Stay

It was a magical stay in a perfect position. The property had everything we could possibly need or want. Communication with the owners was very easy. We loved everything about the property. Highly recommend and hopefully we will be back.

We loved the Dennes Point stay. 4 night to unwind after a short lap of Tassie. The view hits you in the face as you enter. Thanks for the binos to watch the passing yachts. House had everything you need. But take all you food and supplies. Will come back again. Phil

Disappointing

Booked and paid deposit for this place in April. Paid balance in Nov. Told a few days later that building construction going on next door. Obviously this left us no time to make alternative arrangements. Construction had clearly been going on many months prior to our initial booking. Looks like it will be for many months to come; and it is substantial. If we had been informed of the construction work there is no way we would have booked to stay here. Not even free of charge; let alone for the nearly $1,000 we coughed up for the experience. We've been to Bruny previously (different accommodation) and loved the peace and serenity. An island (Bruny) off an island (Tasmania) off an island (Australia). Can't be more peaceful; or so we thought. Grinder, saw, drill, hammer started at 7:00am. Knock off time, 5:00pm. I'm not saying it was continuous for 10 hours each day, but it was sufficient to cause considerable disruption. It beggars belief why we were not told of these works until after we'd paid the balance and had no time to make alternative arrangements - 7 months after we had booked! Not the best way to spend your anniversary!

Paradise on Bruny

A beautiful relaxing location in the less touristy (North Bruny) area of Bruny Island. Perfect location if you just want to chill out, but also great as a base to explore the rest of the island. The property has everything you need for a very comfortable, relaxing stay, including a large fridge, big kitchen with oven, cooktop and microwave. If you prefer BBQ cooking, there is a Weber Q outside. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are spectacular. The place is well insulated with double glazed windows so even in winter (or the wild winter like weather we experienced) it is warm, comfortable and cozy. The beach is just below via a short path - perfect to go for a stroll along the beach or for a swim during warmer months (or winter if you’re brave). Communication with the hosts, Janet and Frank, was very easy and excellent. We were there during a period of severe weather in Tasmania that caused widespread power outages in across the state, including North Bruny. The hosts advised us the morning we were due to head across to Bruny that the power was out in the area so l best not to come that day and refunded us for the night. It was unfortunate the weather challenges meant we had one less night than planned in this lovely location, but the timely communication allowed us to make alternative arrangements for the day and night.
