"Cleaning staff was pleasant. The rooms smelled like mold and did not smell nice. The shower curtains look as those they’re old and never get washed. The floors are not even, broken in plenty of places. Has bugs in the room. But if you’re looking for cheap, you get what you pay for here."

"The place was well kept and clean. It had a very foul smell in the elevator and the stairwell. The pool was down for maintenance because it was green. To us it was no big deal for the pool to be down we found other ways to have fun. When we got in our room the gave us 2 towels for a family of four that was checking in. "I stayed here previously. The hotel has direct access to the beach and the property is pet friendly which is great as a new pet owner. The weather was bad this trip so I spent a lot of time in the room. It seems my room was updated in a hurry. Valero convenience store nearby, for more than just gas/convenience items there's an HEB nearby and there you can purchase meats, sandwiches, towels, & other items you might have forgotten or wanted fresh!!! Swimming pool clean, continental breakfast area kept clean and food was fresh. Coffee ok but I went around the corner to get some, I like robust coffee. sheets bedspreads were freshly laundered. Personal property safe as well we had beach stuff in our pickup...

"Booked for a non smoking room, got to room, got a smoking room.
