"I loved staying at Come By Chance the location was perfect for the whole family, a short walk to the beginner's ski slope and toboggan run, as well as pubs and supermarket. I was a bit disappointed at the cleanliness (toilets hadn't been cleaned properly in my opinion) and size of the living room, I thought it was going to be larger than it was. "The newly constructed River Barn is a great spot with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. You can wander down along the river which is part of the property, our little dog had a great time exploring. The listing on Stayz was unfortunately misleading, stating a travel time of 53min to Mt Hotham whereas the road is actually closed in winter so it's 3+ hours which scuttled our snowboarding plans. The driveway is a bit dicey - if you have a car with low clearance you might struggle....

"Our small family felt most welcome at the Telluride property . Very smart and well equipped 'house' with an awesome fire and warm comfy beds . Appreciated the provision for 'all abilities':spacious safe access bathroom and ramps back and front . The modern appliances enabled a 'cruisy' family life . The location was ideal for both privacy and looking out to the mountains . So many great places to visit nearby. We had a great stay and hope to come back soon."

"Enjoyed the outdoors, Property inside could use some work. Curtains in first bedroom have a terrible looking stain , a bit off putting . Shower head needs replacing and hot water adjustments to shower are dangerously hot , would hate a child to be using it . Most uncomfortable beds hard as rocks . Have never left a bad review on a property before, my apologies. Overall the accommodation did what it had to do ."

"The Harrietville Cottage is beautiful, cosy and well-equipped. The gardens are superb and make for an excellent place to relax. The addition of an outdoor fire place is excellent, really complementing the mountainous atmosphere. We would highly recommend this place to couples and families wanting to visit what is for us one of the most beautiful places in Victoria - Harrietville."

"We were 3 x 60+ singles who stayed in Harrietville for 2 nights. 2 were travellers from the UK. The house has a nice living area with pretty views of the garden. But we were surprised there was no WIFI. Our visit was Mon-Wed in March and many places in Harrietville were closed. The property was quite expensive and the price increased depending upon how many bedrooms were used. We opted for 1x Queen and 1x 2 single beds. Unfortunately the single beds were very narrow and more suited to kids than...
