"The house was a good location for us as home base while exploring from Dangriga to Placencia and beyond. We really enjoyed the breeze in the evenings on the veranda and the early mornings on the roof top. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedrooms a life saver. It was a comfortable house. The only downside was the four sets of multiple keys, especially at check-in when we were unfamiliar with everything. Seems like a small thing, but it was a challenge to navigate in the heat."

"Gorgeous location right on the beach. Cabana was very clean and tidy. Zero issues with critters of any kind. We visited the week of some of the hottest temps on record (last week of March) and were nervous about the lack of AC. The ocean breezes and ceiling fans worked great for keeping us cool. Loved the big porch and spent most of our time there. Host was great about providing check-in instructions well ahead of time and was gracious and responsive during our stay. Cabana is in Hopkins...

"We had a lovely stay at Casa Carazon after spending two weeks in the Belizean rainforest. This is a private peaceful setting for soaking up the Caribbean sea and sun! The house is spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, taking a dip in the pool and sea kayaking. In the evening we had scrabble contexts. A store is merely 10 minutes away for restocking or picking up anything you might have forgotten. The caretakers were attentive and gracious....

"We really liked this house and hanging around Hopkins. Janette is super helpful. House was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We drove in from Belize City and could just relax - first night was calm and the family did a night dip in the ocean to celebrate being there! We had some bad weather the next few days we were there and there was a pile of seaweed (mixed with sea trash) maybe 15 feet deep - couldn't really access the water. "Whats not to like? The sand beach is right out the door and the beach goes out what seems like forever. A great home base to explore out of. Hiking at Mayflower Bocawina National Park to the waterfalls is not to be missed. Had a manatee surface kayaking the mangroves just to the north. A well appointed kitchen and great resturants nearby (dont miss Ella's and Maxim and Luba Laruga). A most responsive host for sure! All in all a wonderful stay!"

"Way better than expected! Our family of 11 stayed a week, immersed in the culture of Hopkins, the people, the food, the beach, the breeze! The cabanas were clean and comfortable with everything we needed, The property manager attentive to our needs and request. Just happened to be there for the Mango Festival, oh what fun! The week was everything we hoped for and MORE!"

"The property is absolutely stunning with a nice sandy beach & plenty of room for the kids to sports. Many places to hang a hammock that you could buy in town. This property is very remote and extremely quiet! I would highly recommend having a rental vehicle. Publics is the closest, cleanest, best place to shop and is 20 mins south. Mings is right in Placencia 30 min south and had some things we could not find at Publics. There is a health store in Placencia that had a few Vegan/vegetarian...

"Large rooms, great porch area with fantastic views, nice backyard for relaxing and watching the sea. Fans and air conditioning were welcome in the warm humid climate. Bikes and kayaks a bonus though the water was a bit choppy to use kayaks much. Able to swim but have to walk out a bit, A few jelly fish showed up but not many"

"It was easy to reserve this house in Hopkins in mid-July and we drove straight to it thanks to thorough directions from the house manager because there is no house number. The house manager lives nearby and she communicated regularly and was very accessible. Although the roof has a great view of the town of Hopkins, there is no roof awning or umbrella to protect one from the sun so it is a sun bathing experience!"

"It’s was amazing !!! The 3 separate buildings, a private pool, cabana , outdoor Showers & soaker tub ….it was simply the best place we’ve ever stayed !! The wildlife during the day, and the night is just absolutely phenomenal! The stars are like something you’ve never seen before in your life if you’ve never been to a place that dark. It was absolutely amazing!!! Will be back soon !!!"
