"I had a great stay at the Residence Inn Boston Dedham. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel is conveniently located near Legacy Place and the commuter rail, making it easy to get around. I also appreciated the pool and the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice added benefit. "Very disappointed there was no microwave or refrigerator. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The food was unappetizing and confusing to figure out how to even get it. We were able to get it free with Marriott points and still didn’t because it was gross. As much as we paid for the reservation, I felt it didn’t come close to the expected quality. "I booked a Queen and a Twin bed and only got a twin. The whole apartment had this funky smell to it. All the amenities were shared so there which I wasn’t informed about. One of the twin beds had a broken frame and neither one had a box spring underneath. One of the bathroom doors was broken and hard to close, which honestly had me concerned. The rooms smell musty, carpets need to be replaced, plaster in the ceilings is cracked and chipping, pillow mist and a half drank water bottle was left behind in our room from either a guest or housekeeping, and the restaurant was closed both days due to a private event, and people just leave food trash in the hall outside of their doors. That's not even the worst part...after returning from a night out, we opened the door, and a mouse ran out...

"Our 3 day stay was wonderful and the front desk was very helpful with determining how we would be traveling downtown! The city of Boston is very walkable and we were only 1.3 miles from Fenway. The area felt very safe for walking and our stay was fantastic!"
