Crown and Mitre Hotel
Tiny bathroom with peeling paint on bath ,entrance to hotel looks fab ,our room was dingy ,over bed light one wasn’t working and it wasn’t the bulb .the lift is tiny and need a paint job .pool and jacuzzi was fine ,staff pleasant .but sadly won’t book this hotel again

Cumbria Park Hotel
What really stood out was the thoughtfulness of the staff. I’m currently on placement working night shifts, so sleeping during the day is essential for me. The team went out of their way to upgrade my room and ensure it was quiet, which made such a difference to how rested I felt for my shifts. The ...

Character Cottage with fabulous mountain views in the North Lakes District
Absolutely lovely cottage. Had phesants eating outside patio doors. Views was amazing . Alreay booked it again for later in year.

Luxury, romantic boathouse on the shores of Lake Ullswater, perfect for special occasions.
Absolutely beautiful building and location on Ullswater, spotlessly clean. Complimentary bottle off fizz on arrival was a nice touch. Road noise can be a slight issue but does die down of an evening and can’t really be heard from inside. Generator only runs for a short while sporadically and again ...
