Fabulous location a few minutes walk from the beach, Hope’s Haven was big enough for 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 groodles. The yard was full well fenced with great undercover outdoor area to catch a cool breeze and enjoy a bbq.The house was very clean and comfortable, I would highly recommend it. This house is an excellent choice for large families during the holidays. It is very spacious, clean, and well-equipped, including almost new BBQ stoves. The big backyard offers plenty of shelter, making it perfect for gatherings.The host’s communication was fantastic, and they provided a lot of useful tips.A few minor items to note: towels and a kitchen garbage bin were not provided, which are typically standard amenities. Aside from that, our stay was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this property!

Everything you can need

Perfect location for the sunny days, you can walk to the beaches and to the lake, and there's a bbq, and it provides plenty of leisure options for the days when you prefer to stay indoors (tennis table, darts, games area with its own fridge). Strongly recommended!

Family Memories

We were a family of three generations and these times when we can all get together are very rare and special so you want to be somewhere that caters to all age groups and Hope Haven absolutely delivered. We loved the house layout that provided space for both kids and adults to enjoy their freedom ! Great location within walking distance to beach and also safe swimming areas at the lake entrance for the little ones! Was all that was promised!

Great weekend away with family

Hope's Haven had all the facilities needed to make our weekend away comfortable, memorable and fun. The outdoor playroom entertained the kids (and also the big kids!) for hours. The backyard was well kept and had a great outdoor seating area to enjoy BBQ meals. Only 1min drive to the beach and you hear the waves from the beach at night and you can also see the beach from top balcony. The family appreciated all the little touches around the house to make us feel at home. It was such a clean, lovely and inviting place. Thank you, Freda.

Enjoyable Home

Had a positive experience staying at this house. It had nice facilities, was in a great spot, and was exactly what it said on the listing. Slight drawback was one of the kitchen drawers had some ants and some of the utensils were dirty and we had to buy washing up liquid, but other than that was a great time.

The property is in very nice location. Although it was advertised as 5 bedroom, I wouldn't consider the detached teenage retreat as a room. Excellent communication from owner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the house, much better than the pictures and lovely host.

We loved the house, it's much better than the pictures. Also the host Freda is wonderful, always reachable, answered all my questions however trivial. You don't need an itinerary, Freda provides a lot of information on local shopping, sightseeing etc which was very helpful. The property is a few hundred metres away from the beach, so if there's nothing to do, there's the beach😊, and the games room of course👍. Would definitely recommend this place. And yes, loved the sweet surprise Freda had for the kids🍫😊😅

Amazing weekend with friends.

Nice area

This property need abit of up grade in furniture and bed. Some bunk bed make noise and property need pest control lots of spiders inside the house also upstairs ceiling fan are not spinning good enough to get some cooling. Also should advertise 4bedroom not 5. As the game room is quite abit humid and hot to sleep. Or use as a retreat. It is best stay as game roo. And a 4br house. It just my opinion. Thank you

Fantastic functional holiday home

Hopes haven met all of our needs. It is in a great location and had everything we needed. The property was very clean. We stayed with one other family and the kids really enjoyed the games area and playing cricket in the backyard. Great place to stay.

Fantastic Place

This property is excellent. We had a large group and it has lots of space and separate areas for lots of people . The games room/entertaining area is fantastic. Freda and Stanley are a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend this property to anyone and in particular large groups.

Great for groups!

The place did not disappoint at all. Enough beds for a big group and there’s plenty of space to chill both inside and out. We had great chill times eating outside and playing board games or going hard on the karaoke inside. The weather was a bit windy but we still managed to have a nice stroll on the beach that’s within walking distance. Would highly recommend, actually found it a lot better than the pictures indicated!

Great house and location!

This house is great for large groups or families and is only a short walk from the beach and cafes. The property was very clean and well maintained. Communication with the owners was excellent. I would definitely rent this property again. I would say though, I think there should be wifi on the property as phone data reception is quite poor, so streaming music can be a little bit difficult. Other than that the place was brilliant, and I would highly recommend.

Very thoughtful host!

The property was brilliantly furnished with everything we needed for a fun, relaxing getaway - TV, well-stocked games room and kitchen, multiple bathrooms, and plenty of space for different groups to hang out. Freda is a lovely host and was very informative when communicating before and during our stay. The only thing that could have improved the place (although it's made clear in the listing) is wifi and aircon, but we managed just fine without it.
