Loved this hotel. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the town!

We arrived with fairly modest expectations, as the 8.6 rating suggested a property that might be showing its age. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. The hotel was acquired just over a year ago by a new ownership group that is clearly making a real difference. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and turned our stay into a truly special experience. They shared excellent recommendations for restaurants and places to explore around the island. Ironically, after trying several spots, the best meal we had was at the hotel’s own restaurant. Do yourself a favor and order the octopus and the goat, both were absolutely outstanding. We left wishing we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

The dinner food was not good. We had multiple meals and tried multiple dishes all of which were of bland taste. The property was beautiful but difficult to get to. You need to travel on a long and windy dirt/unpaved and not well marked road to get to the property. Do not travel there at night as there are no guard rails. This makes you have to stay on property for dinner or eat an early dinner at other (much better!) locations. The views were excellent and staff were friendly. I would seriously caution anyone who wants to go here to be absolutely sure of their travel plans. You are unable to cancel or change your reservation once booked. We attempted to change our travel plans over two months ago after booking but the hotel would not help us even after multiple emails. It seems like x2 months notice of a cancellation is enough time. There were not many guests staying at the hotel which makes me think that the hotel is not doing so well.
