This beautiful home overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is part of the Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Location is a standout with Key West only 17 miles in one direction and Marathon 25 miles in the other. This WiFi-enabled, 1200 square foot home boasts two master suites, with a king bed in one room and a king bed in the other, 32'' HDTV, private full bath, & access to the second floor balcony that has views of the Atlantic ocean. Downstairs you will find the third full bath, smart TV, sleeper sofa, dining table for six, a breakfast bar with four bar stools, a second balcony with lush foliage views, washer/dryer, & a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen. Whip up your favorite tropical drink and have cocktail hour on one of the private balconies, relax in the private hammock, or relax at the heated pool or beach area. The ground floor offers parking for 2 cars and also has an entertaining area with a table and chairs and a Weber grill.

Your boat, up to 25 feet, can be kept at the marina, located in the calm waters directly behind the home (first-come, first-serve dock space and 1 boat per home). Looe Key is a short distance where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving in the keys, along with the best fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or opt to rent a boat from the nearby Cudjoe Garden Marina - a full service marina offering boat rentals as well as fishing, snorkel, and dive trips. After a day of fun, drop your gear off right at the house and clean the days catch at the fish cleaning station found right off the marina/pool area. Within a few miles, you’ll find several excellent restaurants, the only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away at Boonedocks Grille Restaurant. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions (see our owners map below for locations and descriptions!)

Great location and experience

We enjoyed our stay at Joanna and Jason’s rental. Well kept property in a perfect location. Easy drive to Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. The view was amazing over the water and the pool was so relaxing. Fantastic week for us!

We had a wonderful time kayaking and walking the path across the street. We really enjoyed the home base close enough to Key West to access it when we wanted, but far enough away to stay away from the chaos. The house was just a great home base - clean and really nicely laid out.

Perfect Place in Florida Keys!

Excellent location on ocean in quiet condo complex and only 25 minutes from Key West! The condo is very comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated. We appreciated thoughtful touches like provided hand soaps, laundry detergent, and plenty of towels. Pool area with lil sandy area and tiki hut was wonderful, and we also used the two provided kayaks in the bay. Hosts always responded kindly & promptly- we’d love to come back!

Great stay!

Great location. Safe, gated community. Access to pool and chairs on the dock for sunrises and sunsets. Perfect for two couples. Two king size beds...no one had to feel bad for taking a bigger bed. Private bathrooms in each bedroom. Nice size kitchen table for card games and meals. Guest bathroom on the main floor so you don't have to make the trip up the stairs to the bedrooms. Found everything we needed for cooking. Fast communication from the hosts.

Great vacation home

We spent a few days here and our stay was terrific. The house was in a great location, very clean. The beds were comfortable and so was the pull out sofa. Excellent location, close to Key West. The house had everything we needed which made cooking meals there a breeze. Our kids enjoyed the little beach and the kayaks. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Met our expectations!!

Had two retired couples in the unit. Wanted to enjoy the Keys. This unit was a great location for exploration both ways. (South to Key West and north to Marathon) Had a great time. The owners were very quick with answering questions and providing a GREAT PLACE.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a wonderful time! This property was perfect for us! Great location! very nice! lots of space also laid back like the keys should be. The location is perfect every day we took short trips to surrounding keys for snorkeling and fishing. We will definitely use this property again when we go back this summer. The seafood market and running trail the host recommended were top notch.

A great long weekend getaway!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. We used it as home base for our travels around the Keys. It was very comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. The sunsets from the dock are amazing! Joanna and Jason were great hosts providing information and recommendations for the area. If we return to Cudjoe Key, we’ll definitely stay here.
