"Most units are two bedrooms that are owned by folks but our 1-bedroom efficiency unit, although comfortable and clean, was not impecibly decorated. It has a pool and hot tub but we did not use either. Good access to the beach but one has to watch the tides, so be careful."

"kitchen in room was great had nice fireplace, balcony and soaker tub was nice. didn't get to enjoy and relax as I got glass in my foot first night and found more glass in room as we looked around. manager was amazing and has booked us in a suit for my fiance birthday and she dealt with it right away and I'm very satisfied how she dealt with it "

"We stayed for 3 nights, arrived a little early for the check-in time and our room was already available. So, we were able to settled in pretty quick and enjoyed our stay. The staff in the lobby is super nice and friendly. There is a unlimited coffee and tea in the lounge open from 8am-12mn which we loved. The only downside is we get up a little early than that 😅. "This property is in desperate need of an upgrade. We had an ice bucket but no glasses. Jug and coffee maker but no cups. Walked on the beach which was very polluted (looked like a lot of toilet paper washed up). Do not recommend "

"First I have to say we have stayed here a few times now and the staff are so friendly and accommodating, definitely 5 stars for them. We took advantage of the free mini golf included with the room. You can tell that the Motel is slowly making upgrades to certain things, like outdoor seating/ BBQ area which was nice. I have to say though that although our bedding was clean, our room lacked cleanliness, there is definitely a need to improve on that. Our room unfortunately smelt like stale smoke...

"It was good for the price. It’s hard to find affordable hotel nowadays. I felt the cleaning could be improved a bit more in the area of floor. Bed cover had some black dots. I am not sure what it was. I did not tell the staff because I used the other bed. It had two beds. Shower room was good with good pressure. Overall, not bad but could be better with more thorough cleaning."

"The hotel is right on the main road through Nanaimo and I first thought it might be too noisy but it wasn't. The room is well constructed to provide a nice nights sleep. Pictures in the ad are accurate. If you travel with a dog there is a nice enclosed back area for exercise."
