"The cottage was beautiful. Clean, cozy, and ideal for our needs. We will return the next time we are down. If i had one observation and it wasnt an issue to us, was we have a travel fridge in the car, a mini fridge in the room would have been ideal for milk.. Otherwise, a lovely place and it felt like a home from home"

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby."

"As a single traveller I felt very safe and comfortable in this very conveniently located apartment. It’s quaint and had everything I needed a 2 night stay. Extra comfy bed. "We had a really good stay. The cottage is beautiful and equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need. Our son really enjoyed the garden, in particular the Wendy House which was also kitted out with toys, which was a lovely bonus. The village is peaceful but perfect for a nice walk. We would thoroughly recommend the property and would stay again. "

"Good location, very comfy bed, overall clean, pots were not clean and had food residue on them. No parking included and not highlighted on booking, this was about £10.80 a day and a 5-10 minute walk away. "

"It was delightful to nestle-in at Postgate Barn. Mark and Moya were perfectly welcoming and gracious.This thoughtfully appointed country retreat is charming, with perfect accommodations for two couples. Attention to detail gives it lots of comfort and character. "It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! "
