Bienvenido a Chateau Renard, o para la mayoría de nosotros "La Casa del Zorro".  Tan bien llamado por los hermosos zorros rojos en el barrio.  Los propietarios tienen un favorito que visitas por la noche y que incluso ha llamado su Roxy. Ella parece disfrutar del sonido de la cascada en los veranos y pone junto al agua calmante en el sol.  

Esta 3,149 pies cuadrados casa de montaña está seguro de que se ajuste a la factura de sus próximas vacaciones.  A poca distancia a pie de acceso de esquí en el invierno, el senderismo en el verano, y un montón de espacio al aire libre para disfrutar del clima fantástico de Colorado, no es de extrañar incluso los zorros amor Chateau Renard! Tire en la entrada grande y aparcar en el garaje de gran tamaño.  Dentro de la casa se entra en una sala de barro personalizado con gabinetes de madera antigua granero y espaciosa forma de entrada para poner en marcha los zapatos y empezar a relajarse.  En este nivel hay 3 dormitorios y 2 baños también.  Hay una suite principal junior con cama King y baño en suite con tocadores dobles.  Hay otros dos dormitorios que comparten un baño completo fuera de la en el pasillo.  Un dormitorio de invitados tiene una cama de matrimonio, mientras que el otro tiene una cama de matrimonio y una litera doble.  

Tome un paseo por la gran escalera y abrir en la gran sala con vigas de granero antiguo y vistas espectaculares! Este es el corazón de la casa con una cocina totalmente equipada, amplio comedor con vistas envolventes, y la zona de estar.  Hay un montón de cómodos asientos para reunirse alrededor de la chimenea de leña y ver una película en la televisión de pantalla grande.  Fuera de la sala de estar es un baño de polvo y una sala de bonificación con cama doble, TV, y jugar loft.  Detrás de la sala de estar es la suite principal suntuosa con cama King y sala de estar con sillas de cuero rojo para que la taza perfecta de café de la mañana mientras mira a las montañas.  Esta habitación tiene techos abovedados con grandes vigas de madera para un ambiente amplio y relajante.  Hay una terraza privada fuera del maestro, así como para disfrutar de nuestro gran clima de Colorado.  El baño principal tiene tocadores duales, bañera, ducha y walk in closet si decide empacar pesado! 

De vuelta en la gran sala se puede salir a grandes cubiertas y cubiertas abiertas.  Hay un conjunto de comedor y parrilla de gas para comer al aire libre en cualquier tiempo ya que está cubierto.  La terraza se encuentra justo al lado de la cascada y en los meses de verano se puede disfrutar del sonido pacífico del agua, ya que deje que sus preocupaciones escapar.  Con tantos lugares para relajarse, será difícil elegir su favorito en Chateau Renard!

Need instructions for operating televisions. Could not get Roku to work in master B/R and left a message for help which was never returned. Coffee maker did not work properly but property manager replaced same day after calling them. Loved the house, views and great deck.

Bike Trip

A week mountain biking in CB. House was great - views are stunning. Great kitchen and great room for all our needs. Location out of town but close to bus and perfect for riding from the house. Can’t wait to come back.

Great ski vacation home for large family!

Our family of 9 stayed here for a five day ski vacation. We had plenty of room. Place was well furnished. You cannot ski out of location but drop off point just off gold link lift is 2 minutes away. And you can ski home almost to the front door. Definitely need AWD/4WD in winter.

Beautiful house!

Great location off the gold link lift and beautiful property. The kitchen was very well equipped and was a great space for a larger group. The check in process was very easy however we did have to shovel extra upon our arrival to get our cars in the driveway (all with 4wd). One thing to note that we didn’t realize up front - the free shuttle that is walkable from the house stops running at 8 pm in the winter so arrange other rides if you plan to go into town later in the evening. Love this house and would highly recommend!

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

The listing does not do this property justice - it is just beautiful and the arrangements of the house perfect for our family of 9. Also agree with other renters - the red foxes (we had two) were such a treat - not at all scared and came up on the porch throughout the day! There is a stop for public transportation nearby, but not really close so in the cold weather definitely recommend a car. The kitchen was very well stocked and meals for our family were easy in the space. We would definitely rent the property again, the views are amazing! I did need to contact the leasing office a couple of times, barely got up into the icy driveway and had to have them come out with sand so we could get into the garage. No screen on the fireplace which did not seem of concern to the management office although they did send someone out. The contact in the office seemed a little dismissive of our concerns, but the maintenance staff that came out could not have been nicer or more helpful. Overall a wonderful proerty and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home

We're picky. We travel a lot. The photos of this home were beautiful, but when we arrived, we were pleased to discover that the home is even better than in the photos. Comfortable, well-stocked (even spices) and aesthetically pleasing. Views abound. Upscale everything. Beds were a dream. Plenty of space for everyone. The location was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Daughters wedding at the Mountain Wedding Garden

We loved this house and it was the perfect location. Our daughter was getting married at the Mountain Wedding Garden and we needed a house that was close by. This house was well put together and was the perfect place for us to gather during the week of the wedding. We loved the layout of the house and the house decor gave it a homey feel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful Property Beautiful Views

This property by and large lived up to our expectations. Property was clean, spacious and well stocked. And the views can't be beat! My only issue is that the kitchen appliances were very worn out. Dishwasher door was difficult to close. The flame under the stove burners would sometimes go out. Having said all that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

great time

we were so excited about this propert. it was everything we needed for a great time enjoying beautiful CB. easy to find, not much requested maintenance. need to take better pictures of the deck as it was a great surprise. we used the deck as a social spot for a glass of wine and the view. thank u to the ownership and management company.

With amazing views, this spacious home met all our needs

My wife, two kids, and I traveled to Crested Butte from the Denver Metro Area with four of our closest friends. This house had incredible views that we soaked in through the big windows or on the porch. With five bedrooms, we had space to spread out, and the large owners suite left us plenty of room for our infant daughter's pack-n-play plus a spot to change and dress her. The bedrooms being spread across two floors provided a lot of privacy between our loud kids and the grown-ups sleeping in. On the night we arrived, a fox greeted us from the back porch, bringing delight to us all. Travelers should know that this house is in the ski resort part of town, not the downtown area, which requires a lovely bike or car ride to get to. They should also know that the kitchen is fully stocked with all kinds of cookware, so much so that it can be hard to find a place to store the food you picked up at the grocery store. All in all, this was a great spot for us in a beautiful part of Colorado.

Very easy check in and out process. House is very nice for a large group with a great kitchen and living area. The beds all have very nice mattresses which is something that many houses that we have rented do not seem to have.

Great all Around

With a group of 8 for our annual ski trip, the house was perfect. It was less than a 5min walk to a mid mtn run, so didn't have to worry about parking or lines at the base to start the day. The house its self was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of room for us to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinners. Heated floors and garage make it even more comfortable.

Great family vacay!

This was a beautiful destination for our family of 10 with amazing views and an incredible home. The master suite was for our 83 year old mother/grandmother so that she wouldn’t have to climb the stairs except when necessary. We did bring a baby gate for the top of the stairs to keep the toddler safe. Roxie the fox made daily appearances and the kids loved sledding down the hill next to the house. This home was chosen for the size and also for the rustic exterior and interior which gives it a “homey” feeling. The property management was great to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

This is an amazing home. The views are stunning, the location is perfect and the management company (Iron Horse) is wonderful. The home is big and spacious yet cozy. We loved having family game nights and playing in the snow in the front lawn. Could not have asked for a better home for our trip.

Great home, great location. Kitchen was well appointed, nice towels in bathrooms and great bedding. Washer fuse blew one night and property manager had someone there in 30 minutes to fix. We will be back!

Cozy and Colorful - Perfect Family Getaway!

We rented Chateau Renard for a family getaway. It was the perfect house for our family of 9. Plenty of space, cozy and well designed! We loved the proximity to trails, and it was still close enough to town. Everything was crisp and clean - felt like you were staying in a 5 star resort! The views were AMAZING. Soaking in the sun and views from the different decks and rooms was one of our favorite parts of this house. The kitchen was stocked with everything you might need - one night we cooked a family dinner and enjoyed sitting around the big table. The littlest in our group (3 years old) even got to encounter Roxy (the fox mentioned in the description) one afternoon when she was laying outside the back deck. We would absolutely book this house again for our next trip to Crested Butte!
