Location fantastic - not in the tourist area, but still in the old section and only 5 min walk to all the action, plus a fab patisserie and a mini-supermarket around the corner. "This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. This time it totally lived up to expectations. It is amazingly convenient for the centre of historic Nimes, opposite the Maison Carre! "Excellent and welcoming staff. Very good location. The only drawbacks were: the washroom- Very high and slippery tub. Could have used a grab bar for safety. And a small console with drawers wold make fôr a more comfortable room."
