"Overall we were very happy with our stay. Upon check in you will have to call the host directly to obtain the pin for the door. The cabin was very clean and maintained however there was a pretty bad gnat problem in the bathroom. Mostly confined to the sink, however did make their way out into the kitchen area so we had to make sure we had our food secured. The cabin we had was the same layout to the photos and same amenities however it was not the same cabin as pictured. The hot tub was great. I...

"I had a lovely stay at the Jay Bear Retreat's cozy cabin for my solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was immaculately cleaned, and it had everything I needed for meals, showers, and a comfortable sleep after a day of hiking. The location is good for getting to all the Hocking Hills highlights. Overall, a great place to stay that I would happily return to for my next Hocking Hills trip."

"We stayed for Labor Day weekend. It was a nice quant cabin that was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was ready when we arrived and it was super easy getting to and in the cabin. The location was great as it was close to most of the hiking trails. We loved the hot tub and firepit. "

Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!! Melissa was great and answered any questions we had. This would be a top pick when coming back to this area. "
