"A really enjoyable stay. Great communication before our arrival meant no problems with the self-service check-in. Nice room at the back of the building - no views, but couldn't hear the busy road at all. Comfortable bed, lovely shower room. The communal snug was great - kettle, microwave, fridge, washing up facilities and supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits. "We stayed in the garden suite. It was lovely. My only criticism would be that one of the legs on the futon in the living room area was broken. Our Daughter said the bed in the smaller bedroom wasn't very comfortable so we used spare duvets and a blanket to make it more comfortable. The small garden area was ideal for our dogs to be able to give them some space to toilet etc. The food in the pub was very nice, my only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Overall we enjoyed our stay....

"Turning in to the drive, we wondered whether we had misread the signpost as it seemed to meander through the beautiful grounds forever. Parking right outside the hotel, there was someone waiting to open the door for us; one of many small details which go so very far. After unpacking in Badger room, we sampled some of Matthew's expertly mixed cocktails before having dinner. "Absolutely lovely. The accommodation is excellent - a superior barn conversion. Really fabulous on a working farm. Hen Curtis was very friendly as well as her dogs Fido (retired sheep dog) Jumble mixed Labby/Poodle, Pinto young sheep dog. All love a good bit of stroking (not Hen!!!!). Relaxing place to be with great walks on and around the farm. Not to be missed."
