"Lorna and her family are beautiful people. The Gemstones Property is high on a hill overlooking the most beautiful beach (Cross Bay) During our stay we basically had the beach to ourselves. The walk to beach from Gemstones is fairly steep but there are two other routes. It’s not an issue to sway a decision to stay here. We stayed 10 days and our taxi driver Belinda who is a beautiful person stopped in route to gemstone from airport at supermarket so we could buy food, beer and wine etc. We...

"I had a wonderful time very nice place very spacious clean and tidy,very good communication with host kept me updated throughout making sure am ok. Mr Spencer came to clean up the all apartment provided me with fresh new towels abs bed linen very polite we had a wonderful conversation I totally recommend and I will definitely come back if there’s availability on the days I want :) Thank you so much for the hospitality."

"A lovely guest cottage close to the ocean and the bus stops! We appreciated the huge help the hosts were in familiarizing us with the area when we arrived, and any needs or questions were addressed right away. The rum cake on arrival was another hit! "Close proximity to the beach, some restaurants nearby. Was disappointed that it took 3-4 phone calls to speak to the owner or front desk as our internet was down for 3 days and therefore could not turn on the TV or wi-fi. No basic amenities such as sugar, salt…as well no large bowls for salads, only bread knife, very small frying pan and no baking sheets or casseroles to bake food in and specially no CUTTING BOARD! Otherwise the area we were in was good. "
