The BarnLoft at Foothills Farm Cosby/Gatlinburg

Located 20 mins from Gatlinburg, 30 mins to Pigeon Forge, 5 mins to the Cosby entrance of The Great Smokey Mountain National Park. A 10 min drive will take you to multiple white water rafting companies in Hartford TN. The barn is located on a 65 acre mountain farm. Bordering Cosby Creek with about 1500ft of creek frontage where you can fish and relax in the creek.

Inside the loft, you go upstairs to an open concept bedroom/kitchen area. The living room has a flat screen TV. There is also a sitting area where you can use your computer or play games. The Cosby Creek is just a short walk away. We also have an outdoor fireplace.

You will be able to access the creek. There is a BBQ Grill by the fireplace for guest use also.

We will be availablie for any questions you may have during your stay. Pets are not allowed in the loft. This is a STRICT policy.

The loft is located off the Cosby Highway. There is a small farmhouse close by. Also, the Quaint Cabin in located down the road if your have extended family that would traveing with you and want them close by.

The loft is part of Foothills Farm. There are occasions when an event might be going on at the barn during your stay. This is very rare, but if something is going on, we will let you know prior to your booking.
WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS IN THE LOFT. IF THERE ARE SIGNS OF A PET YOU WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $100.00

Unfortunately we arrived to find a wedding about to start. We notified the host and he responded that the listing states there may be other events taking place which is true. However it also states that the host would let the guest know so we could cancel or choose not to book. He didn’t let us know. We would not have booked. This is also a violation of VRBO terms of service as they do not allow shared spaces on their platform. There was nowhere to rebook us as it was Valentines week d so our option was to cancel and get a refund or stay and try to work something out with the owner. We decided to stay since my husband tracked 9 hours to visit me while I’m currently caring for my mother. We entered the lost to find it filthy. The floors had hundreds of dead lady bugs, candy, pocket change, salt packets, on the floor. The shower was also dirty. We notified the owner and sent photos to him and his response was to send a cleaner. My wife had already swept and was the shower at this point. A cleaner showed up around 5pm so now what? We take out luggage back outside through the wedding which we already had to bring in through the wedding so she can clean or we sit here and wait in the loft while she cleans? Warring more of our time? We had already lost our dinner reservation by this point due the back and forth about the wedding. So we stayed and now we are trying to leave and had to have wedding guests move their cars. How uncomfortable this was. VRBO will be refunding us.
Dead bugs everywhere.

I would call it one of Cosby’s little known treasures. Clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. My sister and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely have to come back again and I would highly recommend it to others!

Loved this place. Was clean and roomy. Host was quick to respond and very accommodating. If you don’t mind being 20-30 minutes away from Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and don’t mind a flight of stairs then this is the place for you. Only thing I missed was a washer/dryer. But host supplied extra towels for us so it wasn’t a big deal.

Loved out stay at the barn!

The barn didn't disappoint! It was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Sitting outside on the venue's patio in the morning and evenings was our favorite part of this spot. And you cannot beat its location to one of the Smoky's park entrance. The host was responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

Late Honeymoon.

Had a great time. Love this little barn. Great location Loved the price. A good honey moon trip for us. Cabin was so cute clean and had almost everything we needed. Just wish it had a stove. But on a good note I did t have to cook.

Leaf Peeping in TN

My friend and I booked the farm loft as a girls getaway weekend. It was exactly what we were looking for. The location of this rental is so close to the entrance to the National Park and made all our hikes a breeze to get to. The little market right down the street was great to pick up our rations for the week too. The property was quant and the little creek between the road and the rental was nice to sit for a little. Both her and I were already talking about coming back here and maybe even getting married here since the property does events too!

Peaceful vacation

The property was beautiful! And then we went inside and the loft/barn was so cool. All of the little details were thought out so well. We really enjoyed the creek, the fire on the patio, walking around the property, fireflies at night and it was close enough to the tourist attractions to go check those out. Highly recommend!!

Coleman Lantern Gathering 2023

Your property was very interesting and pretty. The only disappointment was the limited coffee left for us. But.. All in All we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely request to stay again in the near future.
