"Check in time was supposed to be at 3 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until four, they told us they would text me when the room was ready, no text was made available, I finally walked back over to the Front Desk to ask what was going on, they said the room was already ready, but they had forgotten to text me. They didn’t write the name down of the room number, then when I went up to the room, the key didn’t work anyway. Just not what I would have expected for Hilton. There is a good restaurant on...

"1. None of the USB and charging ports worked on my side of the bed, which is the only nightstand in the room. I had to use an cheap extension cord on the opposite side of where I sleep.

"The room smelled of paint and wallpaper glue so strongly it made my nose run. Additionally, the controls for the wall were ancient and hard to use in the dark. There were open holes in the wall with cords running in them, grimy bathroom corners, and cracked door frames for the bathroom. The entrance seems nice, until you get to the rooms. The front desk wasn’t staffed when I tried to check out in the morning. After waiting for 5 minutes, I dropped my room key and left."

"Where do I start:
It all started on entry, I’m 71 years old and there was no one to help me with my heavy bags up the entry stairs, no doorman, someone sitting there offering valet parking.

This is NOT 4 star by any means. From my recent research, which Expedia should have done, It was purchased out of bankruptcy and they put “Lipstick on a pig”, as the saying goes. Feaux timber...
