They bogg live on siteNonna was attentive but not intrusive, and always left us tomatoes and basil from her garden, but spoke no english - more of a comment about us than her as it would have been great to talk to her more fully. "La Colonica is large and beautifully furnished - we only used one, but there are 2 large double bedrooms with showers. The hosts are very friendly, and David is English, so no communication problems. We were free to roam about the grounds - there is an olive grove attatched. There is an enormous, friendly dog who leaves white hairs all over you! The only drawback is that in the village (very picturesque) there are only 2 places to eat - 1 pizzeria and 1 restaurant. We loved sitting out in the evenings having dinner and we’re lucky to be there during the Perseus meteor shower and saw lots of shooting stars in the clear skys. "We stayed at this villa for a month. We had our family of 9 people here for 10 days. The layout with 2 separate apartments was perfect for our group. We had great weather during our stay and so we used the pool (unheated) frequently. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need for cooking, and some spices too. "Great house and landscape with everythung you can wish for. Enough rooms, space, terraces, outside area... even a Pizza oven that is tested and approved! With only a few tweeks regarding the Pool size, up to date furniture and kitchen facilities it would become a real diamond. In the current state 4/5 Stars with a mid-range price/quality ratio. "Comfortable and well maintained house overviewing the entire valley. Lovely terras with grill. Large swimming pool reachable via stairs. Quiet location, about 10/15 minutes to the nearest grocery store and butcher. You definitely need a car. We would love to come back in future. Nice places to visit within max 1 hr drive are Perugia (30 min), Cortona (45 min), Gubbio ( 1 hr). Lake Transimeno only 35 min away. "We had a lovely holiday at Villa Rasenna. Louise is a great host and was very helpful and replied very quickly to any queries. The kitchen is well equipped and the sitting area comfortable and homely. We made good use of the pool. We enjoyed a great meal in the villa cooked by Elena and a local wine tasting and pizza in the village. There are lovely walks from the villa in the local countryside. Would definitely recommend a holiday and we would love to return. Thanks Louise."

"We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Our Villa had an old world charm that was just what we wanted while staying in Tuscany! The view was AMAZING! Our host was so responsive and gave us a private tour of his Cortona. We took advantage of the hot tub and the private bath that was set up with candles and champagne! Another recommendation would be to have dinner with Luka.( our host) in his home. The food was traditionally prepared and amazing. Overall an wonderful stay!!"

"What a beautiful place to enjoy Christmas with family. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and has a well stocked kitchen with everything you could need. The views are amazing and we watched the New Year fireworks from the sitting room. Denise did an amazing job buying all of our groceries for our arrival. Mieke is a wonderful host - responsive and patient, answering all of our questions. We hope to come back in the summer one day."

"Belle ferme bien rénové très isolée en pleine nature, accès par un chemin de gravier un peu compliqué, mieux vaut il avoit un véhicule surélevé. Boven kan je slapen met een gezin aangezien daar een airco is die redelijk werkt. Beneden geen airco dus vrij warm en muffig (was voorheen de stal). "The villa was lovely, and our property manager was very attentive. The villa itself was very comfortable, bedrooms were clean and neat. The bathrooms were adequate with clean towels and great hot water. The kitchen was well equipped, definitely could use a larger coffee pot. "This is a wonderful property in a quiet area, but only a short walk to the piazza and restaurants. The only improvement I would recommend is the shower caddy; all of my travel sized items kept falling out of it."
