Coastal Castle will become your “forever beach vacation” home once you enjoy its ocean views and numerous amenities that it has available for guests! It is dog-friendly for up to 2 pets.

Beds: 6 Kings (5 Masters), 2 Twins, 1 Pyramid Bunk & Bunk Bed Master; 18 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has plenty of room for relaxation with a wraparound couch and separate recliner. A breakfast table at the front of this room will seat 4. There is access to a east sun deck at the front of the house for the early-risers in the family to enjoy their coffee while taking in the views. The galley-style kitchen is prepared to handle a crowd with 2 dishwashers and 2 full-size refrigerators with granite countertops offering plenty of room to prepare family meals. The kitchen bar counter has chairs for 5 and the dining table will seat 12. There is half bath located nearby. A King Master Suite on this level has a private deck; its master bath has a soaking tub with a separate shower. From the back deck, guests can access the rooftop deck to see the sun rise over the ocean and sunsets over the Currituck Sound. An elevator connects all levels of this home. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
This floor has several bedrooms and an private office if guests must work on their vacation! There are 2 King Master Suites; one has a shower in its master bath and the other has a shower/tub combo available. A King bedroom has access to a shared bath (shower/tub combo) with the another bedroom that has 2 Twin beds. All of these bedrooms have flat-screen TVs.

GROUND LEVEL:
The ground level has a Bunk Bed Master Suite which has a Pyramid Bunk Set and a regular Bunk Bed Set that is ideal for kids. Next, family members will be spending a lot of their time in the Lounge, which is equipped with a Pool table, couches for lounging and watching TV, a sitting area and a kitchenette with bar seating, a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, wine cooler and a half bath. The laundry area has 2 stackable washer and dryers. [Note: gas fireplaces in the home and in the Guest House are not available for guest use.]

GUEST HOUSE:
Completing this home is a Guest House with two King Master Suite apartments; each apartment has a private entrance with wet bar, beverage fridge and microwave for guests. A Cabana Room with a TV, full-size refrigerator, wet bar, microwave and a table for 6 guests is located on the bottom level of the guest house and joins the pool patio for a place to gather and relax.

EXTRAS:
Just outside, guests will enjoy the 12' x 27' private pool (pool heat is available for an additional fee), hot tub, gas grill, a volleyball court and basketball hoop. An outdoor shower and a half bath are also part of the outside amenities. There is parking for 6-7 cars in the driveway.

Coastal Castle was a good property for our large family vacation. Proximity to the beach and beach walkway access was appreciated. Owners called mid week to check on us which was a nice touch! Only downside was lack of kids for pots and pans and no second oven and cooktop.

The house was very nice and we loved the location. Having the deck connected to the guest house was very convienent. One suggestion would be to have the bunk beds on the second floor. We had 4 kids under 8 and didnt want them on a floor without adults so 2 of them slept in the floor. So glad we used the pool heat, it was perfect. We might go back next year.

Awesome house!

This house was perfect for our large family. We had 10 kids, 8 adults, one pappy and a dog. I was worried that the 2 masters in a separate house might feel isolated but it did not at all- it was connected and great to not hear the noise of the main house in the morning. The amenities were spot on- the pool, hot tub, lookout, arrangements of the bedrooms, theater room, pool table, access to the beach (although our beach access was closed for upgrades during our stay), volleyball court, everything! We will be back! Only small recommendations- more plastic cups for kids, lighter dinnerware, more kitchen utensils, an outside table. Overall amazing home and so grateful we had the opportunity to stay here!

Easter Break 2016

This is an exceptional property for large families as ours ( 15 ). Very comfortable , great location & floor plan. Our issues would be with the rental preparation , whether it was property management or the owner themselves as it was relayed to us by management. Upon arrival there was no propane tank for gas grill. The gas fireplaces were not available as the propane was empty ( not filled until 5 days after arrival ). Sauna did not work properly. Many light fixtures in & out needed to be replaced ( safety issue for exterior ). Surround sound did not work , repair tech acknowledged that system was "junk". Cabinet in kitchen was left with ant & mice poison. We feel that although home is very sufficient , the management / preparation is very poor. We did not appreciate having to "report" these issues and have people in our rental during our short stay. We understand things happen but ALL of these issues should have been corrected/ addressed before our arrival. Paid rental in full 02/23/16.

Neighbors not vetted

We as a family have been renting in Corolla for 7 years. This is the first time we have had a negative incident during that time. The rental, the communication from the owner, location and amenities were the best. On Friday night towards the end of our stay the house behind us obviously had a large group of young men and women. they were loud and singing til at least 2am. We never contacted anyone as we figured it was a one night issue and youth will be youth. However we found the next day that other neighbors with young children had either contacted Paramount or the police. The house behind us thought it was us and proceeded to pelt the rental with eggs and lemons. I notified the property owner and he contacted Paramount. They sent a representative over and informed us about other renters complaining about this group. We though the issue resolved, but on Saturday night again they were extremely loud and nasty. We were told that the other rental agency would be contacted. I thought the vetting process required that the renter be at least 28 years old. The name on that rental should be banned from renting in Corolla ever again. Like I said we love OBX and have stayed and rented in Corolla for over 6-7 years. This is the first time we have seen anything like this. If you want further information. Contact me.

Beautiful Home but house wasn't ready

Beautiful home but needs power washing and spider webs removed. Needed to be thoroughly checked prior to our arrival. Elevator was not working upon arrival but was fixed within a few hours. Grill was full of water and dirty utensils and no gas. Be advised that if you do not take travel hurricane insurance you are out your money.

The trip was great - the house was not very clean when we arrived.

I have stayed at other paramount destinations and this one was by far the least clean when we arrived. Molded Kristina Keene boxes and bbq sauce all over utemsils. We had some comforters that were stained as well. After talking with three people with paramount I finally was able to get only a $200 cleaning credit. I really just wanted a cleaner house but what we had to do is spend a day of our vacation cleaning. The head of paramount was communicative but the others including the property manager claimed it was my fault and I should have called the first day. Unfortunately we didn’t see everything wrong until a few days into the trip. Regardless I am the paying vacationing client and should not be at fault. I can’t say I will run back to one of their properties in the future after this experience.

A wonderful weekend at this beautiful property!

The property was gorgeous and had every amenity possible. I would definitely recommend it for family gatherings. Instructions for using the home theater and the hot tub would have been helpful but you responded quickly. Thanks so much!

Lots of room. Good Quality

Everything at Coastal Castle met our expectations. It is a lot of house. Bedrooms are good size. Kitchen and living room fit us well. Nice pool. Good size yard. Plenty of parking for our 6 cars.

Great location and all amenities!

Our stay at Coastal Castle was wonderful! We were a big group of several families, and all thoroughly enjoyed all it had to offer. It is easy to get to the beach along the nearby beach access path. The pool, hot tub, game room, and all the other great features of the house were enjoyed by all! Lots of room, in the kitchen especially, and plenty of space for everyone to hang out. Thanks!

What a great family vacation

Great location, great home & great customer service. This was our 7th family vacation to OBX and the best one yet. Our large family had plenty of room to relax in the rec room, pool area and the spacious great room. The cabana room was perfect for lunch and drinks by the pool. Also loved the early check-in and keyless entry. This was our first experience with Paramount Properties and we can't wait to use them again. Thanks for making our stay perfect.
